Bitty & Beau's Coffee
350 Water St, Cambridge, MA
Crema's Take
“This Cambridge café serves beautifully crafted espresso drinks and pastries in a genuinely welcoming space, but what truly sets it apart is its heartfelt mission that customers can't stop talking about. The team—from baristas like Jonah and Jillian to manager Marissa—creates an atmosphere of such warmth and kindness that people find themselves caring as much about the café's values as they do about their perfectly pulled shot. It's the kind of place where you arrive for good coffee and leave feeling like you've been part of something meaningful.”

Coffee shop with a great story. Never thought I’d care more about what a coffee shop stands for than what it actually serves, but this place changed that. I’ve seen plenty of cafés highlight sustainability or fair trade, but this one goes a step further. It’s located in the lobby of the Sanofi building and actively hires individuals living with rare genetic diseases, the very conditions Sanofi is researching and working to treat. The ordering process isn’t always as smooth as a typical café, and drink consistency can vary a bit. Still, everything I’ve tried has been solid. The lounge-like vibes also make it a great place to work/unwind. Since Cambridge Crossing isn’t exactly a café-hopping destination, it rarely gets crowded. If you’re purely chasing the “best” cup of coffee, there are stronger specialty spots around. But if you’re open to judging a place by its soul, this one is worth going slightly out of your way for.
Everything was just perfect! Our coffee and pastries were delicious, friendly service! Jonah and Jillian were so kind and made fabulous drinks. The manager Marissa was also the best! Would totally recommend checking it out, I really enjoyed it❤️
We had an excellent experience at the Cambridge location! Great conversation & Great coffee! The staff was lovely and so kind. We will be back!
I actually knew nothing about this café and simply ordered a coffee while waiting. Reading the café’s story has given me one of the most amazing experiences anyone could have. It’s a fantastic idea, with fantastic execution — everything feels unique. Even the small touches, like the red dot on the map and the order card, made it special. The coffee and fresh croissant were wonderful, but even more so the warmth of the people here. Thank you so much — I’ll definitely be back!
I’ve been looking forward to coming here for a while. The space is absolutely beautiful, both indoor and outdoor seating. Customer service was 10/10. We got a latte and an iced coffee, both were delicious and the flavors were really good. Also, the prices were very affordable.
