Philz Coffee

I've been going to this Philz since they opened this location. Absolutely love it, it's my favorite coffee shop in SoCal! The drinks come out perfect every time! The staff are always super friendly, positive, and helpful. Great vegetarian and vegan food options. I love their outdoor patio with bistro tables and lounge couches. Nice place to bring my dog to relax outside with a coffee. The parking lot also has a super cute permanent patio area in the middle with a picnic table, Adirondack chairs with side tables, and string lights. My favorite drink is the Philtered Soul Cold Brew, sweet and creamy. My go-to food options are the Green Chile breakfast burrito or the plant-based vegan breakfast sandwich. Tip: Order ahead through the app to avoid the order lines.

I get excited to have this coffee every single time I’m on the West Coast. Even though they’ve changed their menu, they’ll still make the Philharmonic if you request it—and it’s just as good. Good coffee and always worth the stop whenever I’m out here.

The ambiance is calm and spacious and not too crowded, with plenty of room to settle in and unwind. While the food menu could use a little upgrade, you’ll still find comforting classics like bread and cookies that pair well with your brew. It’s the perfect setting for meaningful conversations or solo reading time. Bonus: they’ve thoughtfully provided extra outlets, so your gadgets stay charged while you relax.

Always great to find a spot like this! I came here in 2025 and enjoyed the Iced Mint Mojito. The menu is updated for 2025, and everything I tried was delicious and well-prepared. Service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively. Only thing is that they use to make the drinks look kind of presentable, now it’s just a lid over the cup. I’m posting this review as a way to share my experience and also keep track of the restaurants I’ve visited this year — definitely recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area.
