Crema's Take

Nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains, Jumping Goat Coffee Roasters combines exceptional espresso-focused coffee with a charming indoor-outdoor space that feels like a creative retreat—complete with wine, beer, and mead alongside their carefully crafted pour overs and signature drinks. The hospitality here is genuinely warm and attentive, making it equally perfect for a solo coffee contemplation or gathering with friends and your four-legged companions. It's the kind of place where a bourbon pecan coffee or apple pie chai tastes even better with mountain views and unhurried conversation.

Loved our visit to Jumping Goat! The service was phenomenal from the moment we walked in. The space is super cute with a great indoor-outdoor vibe and options for coffee, beer, wine, and even mead. We tried the breakfast burritos, an acai bowl, Prosecco, beer, and a reece's cookie and everything was great. It’s a bit pricier than our local coffee shop, but the atmosphere and experience make it worth it. I also grabbed some Colombian beans and had them this morning, you can tell it is high quality coffee. Definitely coming back soon, worth the drive!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing coffee, drinks, and atmosphere! We had an awesome experience at Jumping Goat Coffee Roasters. The service was excellent and the coffee was outstanding. I tried the bourbon pecan coffee and absolutely loved it, and my wife had the glamping blend, which she also really enjoyed. The wine and mead tasting was phenomenal—great flavors, and the person hosting the tasting was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience fun and welcoming. Out back on the patio, there was a live music performer, and the volume was perfect—not too loud at all—making it a really cool, laid-back hangout spot. Also they had a nice dog park. The atmosphere overall is super cool and relaxing, and while we didn’t see any goats during our visit, the views were absolutely stunning and more than made up for it. If you’re in Helen, this place is a must-stop. Great drinks, great people, and an awesome vibe. We’ll definitely be back! ☕🍷🎶🐐

What a lovely, mountain, coffee shop. Love their variety of different coffees and flavors. I ordered the apple pie chai with almond milk and my fiancé ordered hot chocolate. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and soak up some sun and enjoy the mountains rain views and pasture. Definitely a relaxing spot to just unwind, hang out and take in the view. They also serve Meade, which I did not partake in. I will definitely be back!

That coffee spot has an awesome mountain view. I barely saw any animals since it's so far out, and honestly, the coffee itself was just okay, nothing special. I got a Vietnamese cold brew that tasted nothing like I expected. The triple pleasure is definitely for you if you're looking for a sugar rush. And seriously, don't even bother with the cinnamon rolls; they're super dry. Costco's are way better.

I have been wanting to go to this place for a bit, but it’s just too far away for just a cup of coffee. Today was the day though, as I was visited Helen. On my way back home I stopped here to get some coffee, which was really good. I got what they call a shot in the dark, which is basically an Americano with a shot of espresso, no sugar no cream. They roast their own coffee so it was really fresh. Nothing special, but very good. The place is really beautiful and they had live music and the view on a sunny day like today. It’s just fantastic. I’m only giving it one less star than I normally would because they were too slow and people were packing up. Only one barista, and only one espresso machine. I love the fact that they took good care of every customer, but I think they couldn’t have moved a little faster. The place is fantastic and they even have what they call a “meadery”, where I sampled some mead and cider. Products are really good and quite honest you can just sit staring at those heels for as long as you want and it’s fantastic. It was a relief to see that the quality of the products was as good as the view.
