We had the most fantastic evening with Luke and his family. We took a ride in the wagon through their 2100 tree apple orchard and enjoyed a campfire on the mountain. We were treated to the most delicious vegetable stew and cooked hot dogs by the fire. Amanda left us warm blankets to cozy up with and Luke shared the most fascinating stories of growing up in the hills of Appalachia. The Folk Collaborative store smells just like an apothecary, fresh herbs hung everywhere, and the gifts and Knick knacks available for purchase are home made and special. We will definitely be back! Hopefully to pick some apples, not Amanda’s favorites though! Highly recommend checking out Fire on the Mountain and the Folk Collaborative!

We stopped at Folk Collaborative based on a recommendation from the lovely folks at the McCaysville, GA Visitors Center, and we are so thrilled we did! This spot is an absolute gem. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made our visit truly wonderful. Every single pastry we tried was absolutely delicious—truly the best ever. The savory side is just as impressive; the chicken pot pie was fabulous! For drinks, the quality is exceptional. The barista is clearly talented, crafting gorgeous artwork on our yummy coffee, and the chai tea is to die for. Beyond the food, they have a wonderful selection of herbs and teas for sale along with soaps, apples and more. We loved everything about this place and can't wait to return!

Need the ability to give ten stars or more! This place deserves it! Visited twice during a weekend trip to McCaysville and Blue Ridge and will plan a return visit asap. The vibe, the great smells, good food and amazing staff combine to create a insanely good experience. Loved the apple info from the owner and the great apple cider chai tea as well as all of the great lotions and potions we picked up. If you're even considering this as a stop on your trip, just do it!

Very interesting place. Good for apple picking and spice shopping. It has tractor ride. It has all interesting verity of apples. We tried few. Don't go by how attractive an apple looks. Every apple tasted good. No fun activities for kids. It's a place to get good verity of apples

Wow! This place has further evolved to such culinary artwork, each time I visit I am so satisfied. Today they had some heirloom tomatoes available and boy are they funky looking. My friend wound up ordering the Tommy Toe (pictured) He shared some and when I bit into that thick heirloom tomato, my taste buds were jumping for joy. I also enjoyed the Grandfather Mountain coffee with Almond Milk on ice. Delicious!
