Crema's Take

Tucked right off the lobby in D'Iberville, Salt & Ivy is a bright, airy spot where hand-crafted sandwiches like their standout patty melt and Reuben share the menu with comforting classics like French onion soup and gumbo. The space has a relaxed, unhurried vibe that draws families and friends for lingering meals, with staff who genuinely seem invested in making your visit special—the kind of place where a server's thoughtful recommendations can turn a casual lunch into something memorable.

Nice place. Ordered a Patty melt and French onion soup. The patty melt cooked to perfection as ordered (my guess - custom made , hand made patty?) 👍👍👍 French onion soup was also👍 Nice atmosphere, great service Highly recommend.

Ate here a couple times. Rueben was nice. Asian salad was good, a little sweet. Gumbo was passable. Needed more spice and a better quality of sausage. Both times I went the hostess area seemed a little stressed as they also handle to-go orders. Seated quickly and staff was very attentive.

A very nice cafe right by the lobby. It is open and airy and nicely decorated. Service was excellent. Our only disappointment was the soup came out lukewarm, but the server took care of it immediately and rectified the situation. Overall a nice menu with lots of options.

It was quite busy, but we got sat down rather quickly. Wife loved her French onion soup. Fried green tomatoes were ok. Both our sandwiches were very good. Fries were average. Waiters were very attentive and checked on us several times. The atmosphere was kind of loud. There were a few large parties that were making noise. Other than that, it was, a pleasant dining experience.
