Crema's Take
“Maydan Cafe has brought something genuinely special to Baldwinsville with their creative smoothie bowls, thoughtful Mediterranean-inspired wraps, and carefully curated flight offerings that let you taste multiple creations at once. The space itself feels intentional and welcoming—filled with natural light, cozy seating areas, board games, and even coloring pages for kids—making it the kind of place where families linger, friends gather, and remote workers actually want to set up for the afternoon. Locals are rightfully excited to have found a cafe that puts real thought into both the food and the experience of being there.”

Absolutely obsessed with Maydan Cafe. I got the peanut butter blondie smoothie bowl and my friend got the flight (includes a smoothie, crepe, and wrap) we both couldn’t get over how delicious everything tasted. Beyond the food the staff is so kind and accommodating. I have a food allergy and one of the staff members went out of their way to double check ingredients for one of the items on the menu. The environment is incredibly warm and welcoming. Definitely would recommend :)
Baldwinsville needed a cafe like this… 5 stars all the way. Highly recommend. So much thought was put into the cafe from coloring pages for kids, board games, couch area for cozy vibes with friends and more!
They have great food and smoothies! My family loves shawarma chicken (usually ordered from Meditteranean restaurants) and I was really impressed with Maydan's delivery of their shawarma wrap! Simple, fresh, full of flavor. We've also tried their crépes... amazing! Can't wait to make my way through the menu.
I wanted to try Maydan cafe and support a local business. The parking lot was packed. The cafe itself was beautiful but it was extremely warm in there, I overheard the owner say the thermostat read 82 degrees. I ordered crapes and an açaí bowl, I was disappointed in the açaí bowl. There were frozen chunks of fruit, and it looked like baby food. I couldn’t eat it because the fruit was solid. Needless to say I was disappointed.
Easily my new favorite place! Baldwinsville is extremely lucky to have Maydan Cafe in our community. First, you walk into the beautiful and welcoming space with tons of natural light from giant windows, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options, and even an indoor fireplace! Then - THE FOOD. Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, and I love knowing that the owners go through great lengths to support local suppliers, find organic options, and create food that is good for you without sacrificing flavor. The curry wrap, Reynolds crepe, PB Cup smoothie, salted chocolate caramel bites, and delicious coffee in all its forms are my favorites so far, but there are so many options I haven’t gotten to try yet! Whether it’s doing work, meeting a friend for breakfast or lunch, or bringing my whole family with plenty of kid friendly options, I’ll be choosing Maydan Cafe every time.
