January Coffee

If you’re in Boulder and appreciate excellent coffee and a warm, inviting, inclusive, atmosphere, January Coffee is a must-visit. The space feels thoughtfully designed with two floors of seating and a cozy outdoor patio that’s perfect for catching up with friends or relaxing with a great cup of coffee. The vibe strikes a nice balance between lively and welcoming. All of the drinks here seem delicious, with a menu that includes classic espresso, creative specialty beverages, smooth cold brew, and manual brews that highlight different roasters throughout the year. I appreciated the freshness of the beans and the care that went into my coffee. Whoever the owners are, they’ve built this place around community, quality, and good energy.

The coffee here is exceptional and the staff are friendly. They have a great space for gathering with a friend or getting some work done. I actual like the fact they put a 2 hour limit to your visit. Helps you focus and helps folks find seating. Definitely worth stopping by.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. Solidly good coffee. The baristas here serve great espresso and the drip coffee is always made with high quality beans. The seasonal lattes here are the best. Im usually not a flavored latte consumer but the drinks here are really really good — they are consistently the best ive ever had. The decor is really cool too and the two story setup makes for a variety of atmosphere choices.

this is The Best coffee shop in Boulder. perhaps even the best in Colorado, or even the world. the coffee is amazing; they make house made syrups, there’s no upcharge for alternative milk, and they’ve got a creative, seasonal menu (i’m eagerly anticipating the return of The Banana Stand). the snacks and food are also incredible! my personal favs are the bacon breakfast burrito and the berry scone. i know if im have a bad week, getting a burrito and a latte lifts my mood without fail. and even on top of the fantastic coffee and food, the staff are some of the best people i’ve ever met. my roommate and i started regularly to january shortly after moving to colorado a year and a half ago, and it has been a privilege to get to know the staff on a personal level. january feels like a community. everyone is so welcoming and interesting and just all around fantastic. i love january coffee!!! id give them one million stars if i could!!

Fun coffee shop well decorated for Halloween! The lattes were pretty good though the syrups didn't necessarily stand out (even though they're homemade). Friendly service and easy parking in the lot out front.
