Harlem Java House
211 N Louisville St Suite A, Evans, GA
Crema's Take
“Harlem Java House has managed something rare in a small Georgia town: a genuinely beloved neighborhood gathering spot where the coffee is taken seriously and the creative seasonal drinks (like the honey-cinnamon Captain Teddy cappuccino) become reasons to keep coming back. The espresso-focused menu and thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks earn their accolades, but it's the warm, unhurried atmosphere and attentive staff that make regulars out of first-time visitors, with cozy pastries and croffles rounding out an experience that feels both polished and genuinely welcoming.”

Man oh MAN, this coffee is something special and for the shop itself to have the vibe it has in this quaint small town, is just astounding. The coffees we tried in the flight were both iced and hot, and delicious; however, it is the HOLY croffle that is the item of choice today. I have to say, it puts all coffee shops in the CSRA to shame. Crispy, creamy, taste of biscotti.. I could not leave it unfinished and this is coming from someone whom doesn't have a huge sweet tooth. It was that wonderful texture that draws out the sensational experience. I will solely be back to experience one of these again and maybe a black coffee to counter the sweet. We will not only be back, but will be bragging now that we know we have a coffee shop with the metro feel less than 20 minutes away. WAY to kick butt Harlem!
Cute little coffee shop in Harlem, GA. Holiday menu was changing out the next day so I had to get one more holiday drink with the Captain Teddy (honey, brown sugar, cinnamon cappuccino). Great for this 28° morning. Also got a cinnamon bun croffle, which was crispy on the outside and flaky in the middle with gooey cinnamon drizzle on top. This is most likely going to be my cheat meal for the week. Staff was great, very welcoming. See myself coming back here a lot
I recently found out about this place through a friend. And I have been quite a few times since! Atmosphere: My 3 initial visits varied in terms of how crowded it was. Knowing what I know now, I would only go to work there in person if it were during the weekdays. The weekend is entirely to crowded for the amount of occupancy there when I went on a Saturday. The seating was an issue. However, the previous days were during the weekdays - that is better if you're looking to work on some things and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. There also isn't any parking if you go during peak hours. Expect to park in the back if anything is available. Also see manager's reply below on parking! Service: All the times I've gone in, the service has been great. I don't have any complaints about the attitudes or vibes. I also met the owner out in the back whilst looking for parking, and she was friendly as well. Food and Drinks: Update - There was a day I went where the food and drinks we ordered were not the best so we didn't finish anything. However, see the manager's kind response below. I did go back, and the drinks and food were top tier as they'd been before. I think we just had an off day before that. But as usual, the pleasant attitudes and willingness to be kind and make things right are a plus. I will continue to come and refer others. If the food or drinks are not consistent, please let them know!! They care about their customers, and their attentiveness at getting it right showed when I went back: kind service, top-tier drinks, and perfectly made sandwiches.
I'm a big fan of this quaint coffee shop! Whenever I'm nearby, I make it a point to stop by. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are friendly and attentive, and their coffee and croffles are top-notch. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
I think I have found my new favorite coffee place. My first time here, I got the brown sugar iced latte with oat milk and it was so good! My next two visits, I’ve gotten the “on cloud 9” matcha latte which has toasted marshmallow and white mocha in it and oh my goodness, it’s seriously a 100/10. My boyfriend has gotten the white mocha raspberry hot coffee with peppermint and if you enjoy a fruity flavor in your coffee, this is a must! I’m not even a big fan of hot coffee but I’d get that for myself! The atmosphere of this place is so welcoming and friendly and all of the workers are super kind! Highly recommend if you’re in the area or nearby!
