Cafe Jolie Petit
1500 Webster St, Alameda, CA
Crema's Take
“Tucked away in Harbor Bay, this gem combines genuinely excellent service with a relaxed, spacious atmosphere that feels like a quiet escape from Alameda's usual spots. The staff actually knows their menu and make thoughtful recommendations, whether you're settling in for a leisurely breakfast of fresh French toast or grabbing a quick coffee and pastry—and the fact that they offer free parking makes it all the more welcoming. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a solo coffee ritual, a meeting with friends, or a pre-ferry pit stop.”

The service was amazing! The food was so fresh and the coffee was on point. I took the recommendation of the waitress and she was spot on. It’s always a great sign when the staff knows the food they are serving. Their breakfast choices were refreshing and oh so filling! I had the croque madame (10/10), my wife had salmon lox and my MIL had Jolies favorite. There is no way to go wrong with your choice here. Easy parking and great staff
Enzo approved ✨ Free parking, quick service, and plenty of seating. Stopped by for a donut and coffee on a Sunday afternoon perfect for a quick treat.
This place is a wonderful little oasis on an otherwise nondescript part of the island. A great stop before the ferry, or someplace to getaway from the hubbub of the usual suspects. Go during the week when the kids are at camp or school, and you can have a lovely reprieve from all of the noise, too. They also have a selection of donuts and pastries from their Donut Petit shop, so stay for dessert, or just go for dessert! : )
I tried the french toast which was pretty decent & worth it. The ambience is pretty good as it is open & have a large dine in space. The service was worth mentioning as staffs did a good job in attending the tables, refilling coffee as needed & keeping clean.
My Alameda Restaurant Week photography took me to Cafe Jolie Petit, a gem in Harbor Bay and one of the few places to really eat out there. Their excellent service stood out immediately. They now host a Parisian farmers market alongside their limited menu that includes the great Donut Petit donuts. The outdoor area has this fun cargo container industrial vibe that works surprisingly well. It's become a great brunch spot, and it's perfect if you're bringing your bike for a stop during a ride.
