Crema's Take

This charming coffee truck on Rice Street pulls double duty as both a serious espresso destination and matcha haven, with regulars swearing by creative builds like their "dirty matcha" (matcha with a double shot espresso) and cappuccinos elevated with unexpected touches like lavender and oat milk. The baristas genuinely care about the experience, offering local recommendations between pulls and keeping the menu intentionally tight—just excellent coffee, island-inspired matcha, and a few homemade breakfast bites like malasadas and English muffin sandwiches. It's the kind of small operation where the staff remembers your order and the quality speaks louder than convenience.

Favorite coffee on rice Street. Great staff. Food limited to banana bread and breakfast sandwich. Hours open 8am-1pm meant you couldn't get a cup of coffee if you were doing anything early, but many of the coffee places in the area have the same issue.

My regular orders from HA 1. Cappuccino + lavender + oat milk 2. Matcha + Kaua’i honey + soy milk (pro-tip, add double shot espresso on top *dirty matcha) 3. Samoan + extra double shot espresso iced (for the hubby) 4. Keiki hot coco + whipped cream (for the kids) Forever my favorite coffee pick me up spot on the island. my kids love the banana bread muffin with chocolate chips. I love their musubi.

A super cute coffee truck. It looks like it used to be a city bus. Super tasty coffee and they have some food options too- malasadas, breakfast sandwich. You can order online too. Friendly employees. There’s a sitting area off to the side.
