Common Grounds Brew & Roastery
12 S J St, West Palm Beach, FL
Crema's Take
“This West Palm Beach roastery has mastered the art of being both a serious espresso destination and a genuine neighborhood gathering spot, where you can linger on the couch by the window with a perfectly balanced latte without feeling rushed. Beyond their reliably excellent traditional drinks, they're known for creative flavor combinations like honey-cinnamon and lavender lattes, plus standout matcha offerings and vegan pastries like their beloved coconut banana bread. The warm, welcoming atmosphere strikes that rare balance of being lively enough to feel vibrant but calm enough for focused work or catching up with friends.”

Whenever I am in LWB I always need to stop in here. I typically get their matcha latte or iced tea and a vegan baked good. I really like their coconut banana bread. I never have worry my latte wasn’t as good as last time as they are very consistent. The staff is always warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this spot!
Common Grounds is one of those places that instantly feels like part of the neighborhood. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming perfect for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or just slowing down with a good cup of coffee. Their lattes are consistently excellent, especially the honey-cinnamon and lavender flavors, and the pastries are fresh and satisfying. The staff is friendly and patient, and there’s a strong sense of community here with open mic nights, board games, books, and even a piano. Prices have gone up a bit over time, and cleanliness during busy hours could be more consistent, but the overall vibe and quality keep people coming back. A great local spot with heart and character. ☕✨
Common Grounds is a cozy, community-focused coffee shop known for its warm vibe, friendly staff, and quality drinks. I love their lattes with unique flavors (like honey-cinnamon or lavender). They also have fresh pastries. On the downside, the café can get crowded during peak times, and their vegan food options have become more limited compared to the past. Overall, it’s a great spot for good coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and community connection.
Nice little coffee shop in the center of lake worth! We got an iced latte with cinnamon & honey and a hot latte with hazelnut. Both were very good, subtly sweet - not too much, which we really enjoyed. Nice oat milk foam. Comfy inside seating with couches and big windows. Friendly service. Library with some books. Chill atmosphere, people are working, studying, hanging out. Would come back here! ☕️
Wonderful coffee shop nested in west palm beach. Check out the photos to get a sense of the space. We got two lattes and sat down on the couch by the window. The space was lively but not overwhelming. Good crowd and wonderful service! They were fast! Overall I’d definitely come back! Highly recommend.
