Foxtail Coffee - Riverside Savannah
601 Indian St Unit A, Savannah, GA
Crema's Take
“Foxtail Coffee brings a modern, welcoming energy to Savannah's coffee scene with an espresso-focused menu that shines brightest with single-origin selections like their Ethiopian espresso and farmhouse blend. While consistency can be hit-or-miss during busier times, the genuinely friendly staff are eager to walk you through creative signature drinks like their refreshing orange rose shaker, making it a solid spot to settle in with your laptop or catch up with friends. Free parking in the building and light food options round out this riverside destination that locals keep returning to despite its occasional growing pains.”

It's a Saturday morning in Savannah at 8:45. They must be working the kinks out. Come on. 2 regular - not fancy- coffees. One croissant. Waited almost 15 minutes. Several people behind us abandoned their missions. Not worth the wait. Don't go.
Great coffee spot! They served us a really large coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth visiting when in Savannah.
I love foxtail overall - the coffee is great….some of the time. I’ve been coming here for at least two months now almost daily & it seems like the turnover is so high I can never get the same coffee twice. I think there are just too many new people constantly & maybe they’re learning so my latte is different everytime 🫤 it sucks because the latte is about $7 and when I get one that tastes wrong 3 times a week I feel like I’m wasting money. Update: 9/23 I wanted to come back and edit this review because I didn’t expect a response but the owner did reach out, requested insight on when exactly this was happening and made sure I got another latte that was made wonderfully! I think this speaks volumes so I can’t leave that out! Thank you Tracey.
Modern vibe coffee shop with multiple seating options. Staff was very pleasant and willing to explain some the unique drinks on the menu we had questions about. The orange rose shaker was a nice refreshing drink for such a hot day. The cold brew was kinda meh the sugar didn’t mix well into the liquid causing most of the drink to be bitter and then unbearably sweet at the end.
Parking was quick and easy inside the building. Staff were courteous and helpful. I liked the Ethiopian espresso best, but their farmhouse blend was good as well. Sandwiches were tasty. I even tried their herbal chai tea that they steep for you from loose leaf. A tea I would order again.. who would have thought?! Nice environment and clean. Will definitely return!
