GTA Coffee

Crema's Take

Tucked behind an office building near the Long Beach Convention Center, GTA Coffee is a genuine neighborhood gem where baristas actually care about craft—your cappuccino arrives with rich, dense foam and properly steamed milk that makes you forget every disappointing hotel coffee ever. The spot nails that sweet spot between serious espresso work and welcoming hospitality, drawing everyone from frequent travelers to locals who've made it their new regular, all without the pretension or inflated prices you'd expect from a specialty roaster.

I tried this spot after having a disappointing experience with the coffee shop in the hotel. My cappuccino had rich, dense foam, perfectly steamed milk and great espresso flavor. The ham and cheese croissant was also very tasty. The baristo was super friendly and had a positive vibe. It's a small place in back of an office building with not much seating which is why I rated it lower on atmosphere. That said if you're looking for a nice coffee to take away, I recommend it.

The best coffee shop next to the Long Beach Convention center. Circle around the office complex and find a cute shop with great coffee. The staff is friendly and takes the time to make a great coffee. They also have fresh snacks and pastries. As well as energy drinks and other beverages. The go to place to get prepared before a conference or show. Highly recommended.

I frequent coffee shops coast to coast and I found this one very welcoming and quaint. It's somewhat difficult to find because on the backside of an office building. You need to walk through the building lobby and it's on the left. I enjoyed the honey almond latte and a blueberry muffin. Thank you for providing a great start to my day!
