Crema's Take
“This beloved Key West institution has earned three decades of devotion by mastering the art of the French bakery experience, where buttery croissants overstuffed with creative fillings and eggs Benedict on house-made brioche pair perfectly with traditional espresso drinks. Whether you're grabbing a cappuccino to go or settling into the outdoor seating for an unhurried morning, the genuinely gracious staff creates an atmosphere that turns casual visits into lingering occasions—the kind of hidden gem that keeps locals coming back and turns visitors into regulars.”

Local Key West, legend. I have been coming to this establishment over 30 years used to visited as its previous location. This location is a little bit inconvenient from the Duval for traffic, but it's definitely worth the drive consistent just as good as ever. I don't like coconut cream anything, but this croissant, I will not pass up. Beignet are good, even though sold cold, almond croissant, anywhere is good, but here is great. I had a breakfast croissant really good. The prices are really not bad. I've had croissants in Paris. Not this good. I must stop here every time. I'm in Key West. Definitely not disappointed this time I
Thank you for a wonderful Christmas breakfast. When we arrived the staff graciously helped us find a handicap spot, and were able to get my boyfriend’s wheelchair in via a back entrance! The entire staff were compassionate, kind, and beyond helpful. The food was INCREDIBLE. We cannot wait to make this a must stop everytime we visit Key West.
This is a beautiful little bakery. Everything looks delicious and fresh. We ordered a croissant with coconut cream cheese and it was overstuffed with deliciousness. Egg Benedict on brioche with ham, perfect. The place is small but super charming.
It was one of our last stops on the way around Key West before we drove back home. We stopped by Croissants de France for some breakfast and coffee to go. What a wonderful hidden gem! We purchased a variety of baked goods and pastries including different kinds of croissants. I had the plain butter croissant and a black coffee. They were all tasty, fluffy and delicious, and made our trip home seem shorter. Definitely stop by next time we are in town.
What a wonderful surprise to find this charming French bakery hide in the Key West/Stark Island. We originally stopped in just for a cappuccino, but ended up staying until closing time, enjoying different tartines and the most delicious key lime beignet. The dough was absolutely perfect. We even picked up some croissants to take with us on our six-hour drive — and they were worth every bite. The staff were welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place — a true treasure in Key West!
