Crema's Take
“Public Grounds functions as a reliable campus caffeine pit stop with straightforward espresso drinks and quick service, best suited for UW students grabbing coffee between classes rather than coffee enthusiasts seeking something memorable. The friendly baristas and laptop-friendly setup make it serviceable for studying or meetings, but there's nothing here that distinguishes it from a dozen other university coffee shops—you're paying for convenience and location, not craft or character.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A laptop-friendly, quick-grab spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast on the menu.

Coffee shop that's handy to the Evans School. Hours are typical for the UW. Nothing really to distinguish it from other coffee spots on campus, but if you're there and it's raining, it'll do.
