Taco Guapo

Crema's Take
“I appreciate the detailed information, but I should let you know that Taco Guapo appears to be primarily a Mexican food restaurant rather than a specialty coffee shop. The reviews highlight their tacos, burritos, and authentic Mexican cuisine, with mentions of affordable pricing and quality ingredients—not coffee as a featured offering. Since Crema specializes in discovering exceptional coffee experiences, this particular shop wouldn't be a natural fit for my platform unless they're known for a notable coffee program that simply didn't come through in the available reviews and descriptions.”

Great food and service, very affordable
Went here yesterday for lunch and WOW. Affordable, local Mexican food. I got the Carnitas burrito, and from the first bite, I was in love. It was fresh and packed with flavor. Couldn't recommend it more.
Very tasty and authentic! I got the beef tacos. They were very filling and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back!
Sooooo soooo good!! All the tacos were delicious!! Finally we have a good taco place downtown! My heart is so happy! I moved here from southern Cali and I didn’t think I would be able to find good tacos again. Come support this place and get you some tacos!!!!
Not bad! Look, I come from San Francisco, I have burrito standards that this town may never live up to, that being said, this was a decent burrito. The price and size is right, the rice wasn't some silly lime and cilantro junk, the meats looked good, most being braised and shredded. I got the carnitas, I plan to try the biria next time. I also opted for refried beans and I was happy to finally have that option here in Pittsburgh! The other choice was whole black beans. Toppings like cheese, crema, lettuce, pico are included in the price. These people also know how to roll up a burrito into a long cylinder, not a fat, stubby oval thing. Here's the problem, they took this beauty and put a piece of wax paper around it and stuck it in a Styrofoam box! By the time I got my burrito to my desk, the juices were covering the burrito and dripping on me. I grabbed foil from the kitchen and wrapped it properly. I wish they had steam boxes here too, you put the tortilla in the box, put your cheese on it, close the lid and press the handle to steam the tortilla and melt the cheese, you place that on a piece of foil and get to work building the burrito. If I had the money, I would open up a place with those devices and blow all your minds away! Anyway, give them a try, I will definitely be returning.
