Crema's Take
“Tucked toward the back of Brookfield Place's food court, this Chinese spot serves up boldly flavored, freshly prepared dishes that punch above typical mall dining—their chili crispy chicken and mandarin duck with duck fat rice are standouts that keep people coming back. Fair warning: portions run lean for the price point and lunch hours get absolutely packed, but if you don't mind the crowds and can snag a seat, you're in for authentic, flavorful cooking that beats the standard salad-and-taco rotation nearby.”

The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the tofu bowl and subbed the white rice for cauliflower rice ($2+). My criticism was the portion size. For $17 I’m still hungry! The portions are just too small. The bowl was barely filled. Otherwise, very delicious meal! Give me MORE!!!!
I had a wonderful experience at this Chinese restaurant. The food was flavorful, authentic, and freshly prepared. The sweet and sour chicken was perfectly balanced, the dumplings were delicious, and the fried rice was full of taste and cooked just right. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with beautiful traditional décor that added to the experience. The staff were polite, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy quality Chinese cuisine. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back soon.
9/30/25 This is in the food court of Brookfield Place, 2nd floor. Towards the back. VERY CROWDED during weekdays lunch hours. Mandarin Duck w/ duck fat rice I swapped out the cucumber for broccoli For a fast food restaurant, the duck was not bad. And the duckfat rice is amazing! The broccoli was meh. I would definitely go back.
My new favorite spot in Hudson eats. The chili crispy chicken is amazing. So much flavor and it’s just so tasty. It’s a great alternative to all the taco/middle eastern/salad spots. I had the dumplings as well and they were surprised. Def need to try more of their menu but the crispy chicken js so damn good it’s hard not to get it.
Strictly reviewing based on my personal experience. I felt bloated after eating their chili crisp chicken bowl. Taste was good and chicken has great texture. It could be something isolated to just me.
