Best flat white and cold brew in the area. My friends and I were in the East Village on a frigid winter day when we stumbled upon this cozy little coffee shop. We went in thinking we would grab a quick coffee and head out. Instead, we ended up staying for two hours. Ioannis, the owner, sources coffee beans from unique places around the world and roasts them in-house. The moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee fills the space. Even though we arrived close to closing time, we never felt rushed. Ioannis took the time to ask what we usually enjoy, explained the different beans and their flavor profiles, and even had us sample espresso shots and other preparations to help us understand the nuances. We had an amazing time and drank far more coffee than we probably should have, lol. I have been back many times since. Beyond the excellent coffee and welcoming atmosphere, Ioannis is genuinely kind and a pleasure to be around.
My first time in this awesome coffee shop 😍 and I love it Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the quality of coffee ☕️. If you are walking around the city specially now in this kind of weather stop by and enjoy the coffee ☕️ here 😀
Great coffee, very clean place and owner is great person. Friendly and kind all the time.
A coffee gem in this part of the East Village with a friendly owner Ioannis. He apologized as the floor was being redone but that didn't matter to me as I was there to have a taste of the coffee. Here the beans are roasted in a roastery. The aroma is like a heavenly perfume. I had my usual skim cappuccino and it was smooth and non acidic. When I told him that it was similar to Blue Bottle Coffee Ioannis was surprised and happy. Customers came in while I was drinking and it seemed like they are regulars. Soon edibles will reappear. I am happy that this cafe has opened as it will be the one I will frequent as often as possible.
This is my new coffee spot in town. I love how this place has a roaster and a world class selection of beans. The owner is really nice and clearly very passionate about coffee . Great cortado !
