Tidal Coffee
400 Cannery Row, Carmel, CA
Crema's Take
“Tidal Coffee stakes its claim with an unbeatable perch overlooking Monterey Bay, making it the perfect pit stop whether you're fueling up for a coastal walk or settling in with a book on the outdoor patio. While their espresso drinks and specialty beverages like dirty chais and matcha lattes have their devoted fans, the pre-made breakfast items are hit-or-miss, so stick with what they're clearly passionate about—the coffee itself and those bay views that are hard to beat.”

Everything was pre-made (including the salmon bagel and breakfast sandwiches) so the only thing we could get was the fruit (due to an onion allergy). The coffee and matcha were very bland, and they forgot to put sweetener in my friends drink. Would not recommend.
Great place for a quick coffee! Nestled right into the epicenter of the Monterey Portola hotel. With beautiful views of the Monterey Bay how to clear morning. White Mocha with 3 shots is my go to when I stray away from just conventional black coffee. Service is what you expect quick In and Out. Parking is the worst as you have to pay for parking in this usually busy area that's very touristy. If you can get there early enough Park quickly and get out or your coffee and you should be all right after 10:00 a.m. you most likely want to find a parking nearby.
Was craving a nice Chai latte, this hit the spot. Specially if you’re waking along the trail exploring. Enjoy my beautiful souls
Nice coffee shop with views of the bay. Indoor and outdoor seating. We got the breakfast burritos that was large and full of flavor. It had chorizo with potatoes and cheese. My wife got the dirty chai and said it was the sweetest chai she's had. She would recommend you try. I got the cold brew.
This coffee shop is in such a perfect spot, it’s right next to the Monterey Plaza Hotel. There’s seating both inside and out, and the outdoor area is especially nice. If you walk just a bit around the corner, you get a beautiful view overlooking the ocean. The shop itself is clean, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I had the dirty chai, which was delicious, and my husband ordered a cappuccino that he really enjoyed. Overall, just a great little place to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
