Cafe Guarani

There are a number of quality coffee shops in the Monterey Area, but in my opinion, having tried many over the years, Cafe Guarani is the best one. They have a great mix of ambience and food / drink selection. They make unique, high quality beverages (I usually get the Dulce de Leche latte), their food menu is equally delicious and extends beyond pastries into savory empanadas and sandwiches. Their brisket empanada is outstanding and rivals any empanada I tried during a backpacking trip to Argentina last year. The back patio has awesome vibes, especially on a sunny day, and the staff are friendly and maintain a very cool indoor space. The prices are slightly above average, but the taste, unique selection, and atmosphere more than make up for it. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting as a place to stop, or to any locals as a new regular spot.

This place is absolutely fantastic from the Secret Garden in the back to the beautifully homemade empanadas to the delicious warm coffee. I would rate it 10 out of 10. If you are looking for something different than Starbucks and need a good hearty breakfast on the go, this is the place to go loved supporting this little local gem on my drive-through Pacific Grove. Everything was amazing!

The Coffee and food here are very tasty. I know the owner and she is very kind. The workers could be friendlier and do a better job at making customers feel welcome. It is a small coffee shop but the decorations and setting make the place feel cozy. The outdoor seating area is nice, especially on a sunny day. I recommend this place.

Very lovely, quiet, and calm atmosphere to grab a coffee in the morning before hitting Monterey Aquarium and cannery row. Charming interior. Dulce de Leche Latte ($4.75 - 8oz): 5/5. Great portion for the price and very nicely sweetened latte Cinnamon roll ($6) - 5/5. giant cinnamon roll for the price! satisfies the cinnamon roll craving for sure. Lots of seating to just chill and enjoy the coffee.

Very unique and lovely cafe. Great selection of empanadas that are made fresh and smell delicious. The selection of coffee's and herbal teas was convenient. All of our selections were delicious. The wait to order and receive our items was longer than a trip to Starbucks and but everything was delicious and worth the wait. Also, we got to enjoy the atmosphere and decor. It is a very comfortable place to really and enjoy some good coffee.
