The Gourmand Market

A lovely market/restaurant! I stopped in for lunch and the service was excellent. The atmosphere of the place was my favorite part but the food was good too.

We stopped by here yesterday just for tea, and wow, I’d give this place a solid 15 out of 10. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. They even let us try different milk flavors with our chai, which was such a thoughtful touch. Thanks to them, I discovered that I absolutely love maple walnut milk, and it paired perfectly with my chai tea latte. Everything was delicious, and the overall experience was just awesome. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I went to Gormand market in Charlotte Nc for my first time on Friday. I ordered a cookie butter iced coffee and croissant. I finished my coffee and croissant. The store is cute, and warm, comfortable. I was in a rush to get on the road to go back home. I was thinking about the gourmand store this morning wishing I had the same experience. The lady who took my order was helpful. I was bragging last night to someone about the gourmand store.

Could not rave about this place enough, so sophisticated, upscale but affordable. Service is absolutely on point, waitress is great at what she does, very friendly. My salmon lunch was so good, I dreamed about it the other night. Salmon was cooked to perfection and curry base was so delicious. My husbands meal was great as well, he enjoyed it but i think my salmon was the winner. We ordered the Moscow mule, different than any other i trued but ot was also very good, they also have a great market grocery selection. Would definitely come back. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I’ll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

I'm in town for a wedding and I'm so glad I tried this place. For breakfast, I had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant with breakfast potatoes. The food was fresh and delicious. So, I went back for lunch. I got the grilled chicken Caesar wrap and side salad. 😋😋
