This week we wanted to sell some of my jewelry that I haven't worn for years. We didn't know what was gold and what was costume. We went to Accent first because they claim to pay the most. We knew gold was up and the price they gave us was way more than we thought but we wanted to get 3 estimates. We then visited Memphis Gold and Diamond Buyers and the price we were given was $2,600 more than Accent. Also, the owner gave us an education on the quality of diamonds and gold which was very helpful. We were very comfortable with the quote and we felt the owner was highly knowledgeable so we decided to forego getting a 3rd estimate and took his offer. We returned today with a few more pieces and again was offered a great price. I have already recommended him to 3 friends interested in selling their jewelry. What a wonderful experience! I had a couple of gold chains I don’t wear and since we were going to be heading to the casino I thought I would sell them and have some fun. I researched places for a hundred miles from my home in Big Creek & I’m so happy I found Alex & Derek! I had a great experience with Memphis Gold and Diamond Buyers. Alex and Derrick were incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. I’ve been downsizing and recently lost my job, so selling old jewelry wasn’t easy, but they truly put me at ease. Nice guys working, but either not careful or dont care about business. They currently offer 49% melt value of 24kt gold. 7.3 grams Spot value on the day in question 139$ per gram. Would put melt value around 1k. There were 2 gentlemen inside. One asked for it, said "we do it by weight you know" and then said ill give you 500. No other questions asked. Thats not even negotiable. Pawn shops offer better. This happened at 2pm on dec. 18th.

Easily the best selling experience I’ve ever had! Super friendly and no nonsense. His margins were reasonable where we were both able to make some money. The store was nice, but not pretentious like others I’ve done business with. The owner runs a tight ship. I felt safe doing business here. This is much preferred over some of the sketchy options in Memphis. Knowledgeable and friendly proved to be a winning combination.
