Open Market
3339 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
Crema's Take
“I appreciate you sharing this, but I should clarify that Open Market appears to be a Korean grocery market with a food court rather than a specialty coffee shop. From the reviews, it's celebrated as one of LA's best Asian markets with incredibly fresh produce, authentic KBBQ ingredients, and a standout kimbop counter that offers exceptional value at just $8—plus the rare bonus of free parking in Koreatown. While they likely serve coffee, the shop's real draw seems to be the bustling marketplace experience and quality Korean prepared foods rather than specialty coffee discovery. If you're looking for coffee recommendations in that area, I'd be happy to help point you toward actual specialty coffee shops instead!”

I wish I lived closer to this market! Took a detour and found so much authentic Korean food and household items. They carry majority of the meat you would order in kbbq! Some of the freshness of their greens looked wilted but you can’t beat the prices. I walk out of Hmart $100 down every trip, this one I was shocked at how much I saved. Yes they still had plastic bags, but I was grateful they did— cuz I needed to walk 3 blocks.
Best asian market ive been to yet. Had a little of everything. Warm, cold, cans, boxed and packages. Had some typical american store products where could just about get everything in one location. Def will be back doing Asian dessert/candy run next.
So disappointed today! I love California Market. Their Kimchi is awesome! I like to shop fresh veggies & meat too. BUT! Today, the Korean fried chicken I got from deli was SO BAD! TOO tough to chew. I thought my teeth will be chipped. My daughter & My husband couldn’t chew on it, either. We had to threw them away!🥲 What part of chicken are they using?? Too hard.
The best Korean market in LA. All food is fresh and clean, with a wide variety of items and choices in a pleasant atmosphere.
The parking is free! Hard to come by in ktown. There's a great kimbop place inside and it's amazing for $8 you get so much!! The best kimbop.
