Crema's Take
“This charming Sugarhouse spot is a genuine tea lover's destination where the knowledgeable staff genuinely guides you through authentic options like house-made chai and specialty matcha rather than just taking your order. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere draws a steady crowd of students and remote workers who appreciate the unhurried pace, late hours, and quality pastries that make it feel like a real tea experience rather than a quick caffeine stop. With consistently high marks for both their thoughtful drink craft and warm hospitality, Tea Zaanti has clearly mastered the art of making visitors feel like regulars from the moment they walk in.”

Such a cute place on a cute street in Sugarhouse. My Chai was great and Service was great as well. I will be back.
Such a fun little cafe to visit! Right when we walked in, we were greeted by the staff who were very friendly. They did a great job answering my questions about the tea options they had. I’m so grateful as there were a lot and it can be overwhelming, especially if you have people waiting behind you. I settled on an iced black tea and it tasted good! They have a very generous large sized cup if you order a large, and the tea came out very fast. We also ordered a baEGGel sandwich with prosciutto and it was divine. The place was well kept and I’d definitely come back to hang out and grab a drink.
If you want a real tea experience, this is the spot. The crew is great and helpful in their offerings. Also want to thank them for introducing me to authentic Chai. Gf truly enjoyed her matcha here, and the pound cake was pretty delicious. It's truly a lovely quiet cafe with great service, and will definitely be bringing my puppers to sit on the patio sometime to people watch :)
Such a cute spot! Came here on a Sunday evening and it was pretty packed; many people working and studying! Some of their treats were sold out as well. Upon walking in you’re welcomed with a wall full of loose leaf teas! It can be a bit overwhelming, but I love that each can had a description of each tea and the workers are so friendly, they will break down each tea for you and explain how each taste different. I got the Tie Guan Yin oolong tea with milk to make it into a milk tea. It was very fragrant and had hints of floral and tasted very light with some sweetness! I also got a chocolate brownie which was a nice sweet treat; very decadent and rich! Definitely a good study spot or just a chill spot to talk and chat with friends. There’s indoor seating and outdoor seating!
A perfect start to our Saturday! We stopped by Tea Zaanti around 1 PM and couldn’t have picked a better place to kick off our errand-running day. I ordered an iced Earl Grey with honey and a cinnamon tea cake—such a comforting combo. The patio had a great view, and the vibe was calm but full of life with the hot dog and cones pop-up outside. Inside, the shop is beautifully stocked with teas, wines, and thoughtful merchandise—everything feels curated and inviting. A huge shoutout to Nimbona, who made the visit truly special. She was patient, kind, and helped me find the perfect pairing. You can tell she genuinely enjoys helping guests explore the menu and make the experience personal. That kind of service really stands out and set the tone for the rest of our day. My other half joined me, and it turned into the perfect little pre-errand ritual. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming spot with excellent service and a great selection of teas and wines, start your day at Tea Zaanti.
