“Tulie Bakery has earned a devoted following over nearly a decade for its exceptional laminated pastries and espresso drinks that consistently exceed expectations, from their signature pumpkin lattes to custom creations like lavender-infused oat milk lattes. The friendly, attentive baristas keep the energy warm even during rushes, and the kitchen delivers generous portions of standout items like their exquisite lemon bread and avocado toast with soft-boiled eggs, making it an ideal spot to linger over coffee or grab a birthday cake that locals swear by year after year.”

I am an avid Tulie Bakery fan and have been for 8+ years. I always go if I’m in the area and Tulie is always my bakery of choice every year for my birthday cake. Tulie has better baked goods than most bakeries I’ve been to in Paris. I tell everyone about my favorite bakery and have converted many to the Tulie fold. Some of my favorite treats (in no particular order): chocolate bouchon, morning bun, sticky bun, olive oil cake, almond croissant, cheesecake (I often get the mini one!), flourless chocolate cake (very very rich), German chocolate cake, hibiscus tea, ricotta and jam toast. I am probably missing a few things! A couple (minor) gripes: slow service if you’re ordering from their menu (go in expecting this), nonchalant, low energy employees (most of the time) and most recently, the toffee we just picked up for Christmas wasn’t cooked enough (the toffee/buttery flavor wasn’t developed bc it didn’t get to a high enough temp—I’ve made this mistake before myself) and it didn’t taste good and that was disappointing (not cheap and we were looking forward to eating it!).
Ordered an iced oat milk latte with lavender syrup, blueberry muffin and the avocado & soft boiled egg toast. Service was great even though they were slammed. The baristas were friendly, make eye contact and were composed and friendly even with a line out the door. The line is worth the wait and it moves quickly. The made to order breakfast choices and sandwiches are worth the 10-12 minute wait to be made. The best crunch bread! Highly recommend. Mobility is a little difficult with the narrow design of the building but people are friendly and make space. Kid friendly. Outdoor patio.
Good quality, large portion size for the exquisite lemon bread, and the pumpkin lattes are decent!
Was very excited to try the infamous Tulie and was thoroughly disappointed. The hot chocolate was served lukewarm and wasn’t anything special (I’d say it was on-par with Swiss Miss). I had higher hopes after seeing the hot cocoa specifically recommended by The Female Foodie. Although the molasses spice cake had a nice subtle hint of spice, I prefer a spice cake to pack more of a punch. The cake also seemed more oily than maybe is normal? It left a film on my lips and fingers. The service was fantastic and the place is darling, but not sure if spend money here again.
Tulie Bakery is superb. My wife and I were driving around salt lake looking for the best places to find great laminated dough, espresso, etc. Tulie Bakery came highly recommended and I can see why. It was a very clean establishment, the workers were very friendly, and the food/drink items were all made to perfection. If you are looking for a place where you can sit and enjoy pasties that are out of this world. This is your place!
