1/19/26 5:00 p.m. Walk-in Food: The selection available here is outstanding! Between the drink options and the general store merchandise, there is so much to look at; so many new things to try. My go-to was an iced Thai milk tea with boba, but I recently tried the taro milk tea and now I’m hooked lol. This last visit, I had my daughter with me and she asked if they had a regular chocolate shake (they don’t), but the employee that was taking our order was incredibly sweet and helped us pick out something that would work. She made a chocolate banana shake and just omitted the banana, as well as added frozen strawberries on top for my daughter; it was delicious. One of my favorite things to get as well is the matcha mochi; I’m so glad they carry them! Service: Every time we’ve been in, the employees are wonderful. We’re greeted with a smile and positive attitude as well as patience. They are quick and efficient when preparing your order. This last visit, one incredibly sweet employee even came out to give my daughter quarters (from her own wallet) for the claw machine. She most definitely went above and beyond
Tea time is hands down the best boba around ! The boba is so tasty and chewy, as well as the tea being very refreshing and fruity 🍓🍑🍉!! Staff is always friendly and recommend their favorites when I struggle choosing what to get. I definitely recommend coming here with their variety of choices and snacks !! 🧋🥟
This shop has a lot of cute items and snacks that you can't get really anywhere else in Ames! Mochi, different flavors of chips, different types of Ramen, etc. It's also very cute inside. However, the main reason I would go here is for it's Boba. And I just felt like it wasn't that great. My wife and I both got a different Boba flavor and they both had weird tastes to them. The Tapioca Pearls were also a little too soft and not at all chewy, which added to the weirdness. If you're shopping for cute snacks this place is great, but if you want Boba then it's always worth to go to 1+1 just a few blocks away
Great boba tea! But we came to your place, in the middle of the windy weather. We expect your place to be opened and we came to this place at 11:34am on Jan 6th and the place still closed? Anyway, great great awesome fantastic boba. I gave it 3 star because of wrong advertisement, making us drive all the way here for boba (we love your boba) and got no boba in return.
The happy family bubble tea is a solid 4 stars: the toppings were on the light side, and black tea could be stronger. Service was 5 stars with sharp and friendly cashier and quick turnaround on the drink. I also really like the tiny Asian grocery shelves in the shop. Selections were brilliant and prices were competitive. Overall, an excellent experience.
