Crema's Take

This beloved Elizabeth bakery is a genuine Uruguayan and Argentine gem where the pastries are worth driving over an hour for, paired with surprisingly excellent coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice that locals grab before work and visitors make special trips to experience. The staff radiates warmth, the prices punch well above their weight for quality, and every item—from buttery medialunas to savory beef empanadas—arrives beautifully presented and thoughtfully seasoned. It's the kind of early-morning spot where tradition, care, and community collide in the most delicious way.

great bakery. i always go early in the morning before going to work to get some of their fresh bread for my breakfast. very great options for different kinds of Urugayian/Argentine pastries. My favorite pastries are the bizcocho de azúcar and bizcocho de queso and the custard and guava pastries. very good prices too and you can get 1 dozen or 2 dozen pantries sweet or salty to go. they also make a great coffee

Our absolute favorite bakery. We drive over an hour to come here and it’s worth that and more. The staff is amazing and the pastries are to die for, definitely check out this spot if you’re around Elizabeth!

Very well priced for the quality of food. I got the beef empanadas and an iced coffee. Presentation is very nice, empanadas were well seasoned and onions inside had a good flavor. Coffee had a good flavor as well, and a good amount of sweetness. The actual coffee had a nice taste, just a well blended coffee bean, and a good amount of sugar, not too sweet. Air conditioned and location is very convenient.
