Philz Coffee

Stopped by Philz Coffee and had a great experience. The person behind the counter was super friendly. I ordered a croissant and asked for a latte - while they said they don’t do lattes, they offered something similar, and it was still really good!

Google hours weren’t updated, so I arrived right at what turned out to be early closing. I fully understand closing time—but this was a real opportunity to show hospitality. Coffee is excellent. Service can argue missed an opportunity, especially for travelers relying on posted hours with 6 hours ahead

I love this place so much I used to drive all the way up from San Diego (before they opened in San Diego) on the weekends with my dog just to get their iced Ecstatic (sweet and creamy) and sit and look at the ocean. Now that I live 10 minutes down the road I go here all the time! The staff are always friendly, positive, and welcoming, and the drinks come out perfect every time! Colin brightens my day every time he's there just with his awesome attitude and positivity. This location is inside the Pacific City outdoor mall. There's an outdoor parking lot (pay to park), but has three free 15-minute spots. There's also a large underground parking garage, and Philz will validate garage parking for 2 hours. The inside of the shop is fairly small, but there are some tables to sit at inside as well as outside. Personally I like to take my coffee to the mall's courtyard (right next to Simmzy's / Mendocino Farms) and sit and look at the ocean while I enjoy my coffee. My current favorites: Philtered Soul Cold Brew (sweet and creamy) and either the plant-based vegan breakfast sandwich or the Green Chile breakfast burrito (vegetarian and not spicy).

Really great vibes and delicious coffee. Very friendly staff and good prices with plenty of seating. ☕️

Philz Coffee at Pacific City Mall in Huntington Beach is a fantastic spot with an unbeatable location! The place is always buzzing with energy, which speaks to its popularity.
