Crema's Take
“This Central West End spot serves up an impressive range of boba drinks alongside satisfying Asian comfort food like pork tonkatsu and spicy beef bowls, drawing devoted regulars who praise the friendly service and cozy atmosphere. While milk tea temperatures seem to be a recurring quirk, the shop shines as a genuine gem for those seeking an authentic boba experience with quality ingredients and a welcoming vibe. Jay and the team clearly put care into making visits memorable, even if consistency could use some fine-tuning.”

I really had a great experience with Jay. It was awesome being there. I would definitely recommend. I had the Spicy Beef, came in a big bowl and was super good.
Would not recommend. It didn’t feel very sanitary. The cup I got seemed a bit dirty and worn off. And the guy was wearing slippers bare feet and maybe sweatpants/pajamas like he just woke up or something The drink looked NOTHING like the pictures. Also the actual price they charged me was higher than the menu.
This location is fine but could be better. We only ever get the milk teas. Regardless of what we get, they are never ice cold. Even with all the ice they put in the cup it somehow is room temperature. The flavors are also lackluster as if they don't put any sugar in them. Service is also incredibly slow. Even if you mobile order a drink, they don't seem to start making it until you show up. It's confusing how service is as slow as it is when there's never any customers inside. They do DoorDash orders, yes, but there's always a lady at the register when we walk in not doing anything until someone places an in store order. Not sure if she's solely doing drinks but most places don't take 5-10 minutes to make two drinks.
Service was friendly and fast, atmosphere was comfortable and clean. Food was tasty and seems to be fresh my wife and I enjoyed the pork tonkatsu, my son had the tempura 🍤 shrimp&rice bowl. We also had the strawberry 🍓 tea with mango 🥭 popping Boba. All i can say is that I cannot wait to go back and enjoy more dishes and flavors.
This shop is an absolute gem if you want the ultimate boba experience in the CWE area! With an impressive selection of food and boba drinks, it's impossible not to find something that hits the spot. The ambiance is not just clean; it's inviting and energizing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff? They're a breath of fresh air—always friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like catching up with friends. Let me tell you, the food is nothing short of phenomenal, and the drinks? Pure bliss! When I was living in CWE, this was my go-to spot after those long shifts at the hospital. It was conveniently just a quick 0.1-mile stroll from my apartment, and winding down with some delicious boba was the highlight of my day. Trust me, you're missing out if you haven't been here yet! P.S. My fave orders are: sesame balls, chicken karaage, beef teriyaki udon, and the smashed taro brown sugar boba milk (highly recommended by me).
