⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shaw's Coffee - St. Louis Such a cute spot, located right in the ♥️ of STL Hill in an old Bank! We had a Latte Flight inside the old Vault Brownie Batter- 🤩 came eith a little heart shaped brownie Love Potion- 🤤💯♥️ our favorite- the Raspberry was to die for and came with a Raspberry Cheesecake Bite Chai Tea Latte- classic and my go to drink! Was delicious 😋 One of my gifts for Valentines Day from B was a scratch off for date ideas! We had to find a unique flight of food or drinks! Nailed this one! Def a spot we will go back!
I am visiting from Los Angeles and stopped by yesterday to try their matcha, and I was supremely impressed. This is the best matcha I have tried in the city. It's a cozy coffee shop as well. I gotta shoutout the service tho, specifically the barista Lilly!! After about 4 sips, I spilled my matcha all over my table and the floor, and she came over to clean it up without making me feel bad about the mess or that she had to clean it. I was fully prepared to clean the mess and wanted to, but she wouldn't let me. She also made me a new matcha for free. I will be returning again before I go back to Los Angeles. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality, Lilly!
Moving reviews over from Yelp and this was originally published in 2017: As good a place as any to hang your hat and get some work done in the middle of the day. I'm not a coffee drinker but they do have a good selection of teas available and will refill your cup with hot water upon request. Wifi is adequate, plugs are available and the space is conducive to finding somewhere good to hole up with the laptop and knock out some work product. The only downside is that they close at 6pm. Not a problem this time around because I was in the area for the ISC and that restaurant had a nice single-malt for me to enjoy while waiting a half-hour for the event to start.
I absolutely LOVE Shaw's Coffee! I look forward to stopping in and trying the seasonal flavors every month or so. My only gripe, is that when I order the seasonal flavors, they all have sprinkles on them and I make sure to ask for no sprinkles, but somehow I always end up with them in my drink. It's not awful, but I just hate how the sprinkles fall to the bottom of my cup and get soggy and dye my drink! Other than that, the coffee tastes amazing. The flavor of the beans (that they roast themselves!) is so strong and the perfect cup. If you are a fan of sweet coffee, then make sure to ask for extra syrup, but if you like to taste your coffee with just a little sweetener, then this will be perfect for you. If I lived closer, this would be an everyday adventure!
What a cool coffee place! This shop has such a chill vibe with natural light coming off the yellow awning outside which makes this place perfect for studying, reading, or work. I got an iced strawberry matcha that was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend :)
