Beef souvlaki in gyro was a bit overcooked and unevenly distributed, most of it at the end. Soup and salad, avgolemono delicious, pita soft fluffy and warm. Dolmades exactly what you'd expect. Service was a bit slow to take my order initially but after that they were very attentive and pleasant. The tzatziki is on point.
This our first time at this place, and it is a hidden gem if you like Greek food, my wife and I ordered the meze appetizer and got the roasted red pepper hummus and tazakai both of which are flavorful and made fresh. I ordered the lamb gyro and it was tender juicy and the pita bread was fluffy and soft, I could eat it everyday, rice pilaf was excellent as well. My wife got the sausage and salad soup combo everything was well dressed and tasted amazing, and the dessert was flavorfull and good. we will definitely be coming back and they have hi-c pink lemonade double bouns
Just do it!!! I found this place by accident, expecting to grab something quick from Publix. I’m very picky with my Greek food, and this place did not disappoint. The Dolmades were on point, incredibly flavorful and better texture. Not dry. Mediterranean plate was different, but different in a good way. Straight forward, solid cook and generous portions. I highly recommend. Another gem for my secret book of top places in Richmond
Bell Greek is the place to be! Highly recommended for authentic food and our server Alana was beyond expectations. If you are any kind of foodie or sweet tooth connisiur, bring yourself! Omg the baklava is to die for.
Bell Greek is just a fantastic neighborhood Greek restaurant. I randomly stopped by for lunch in the middle of the week. I was seated promptly in a wonderful seat outside in just beautiful weather. The outdoor seating is under the roof-line so it should be a great spot at any temp you can handle because it is protected from rain. The owner/host/waiter promptly took my order. I went with the classic gyro sandwich (of course I chose lamb as the protein) and a side of fries. Is there a more classic Ameri-Greek lunch? The gyro sandwich came out and was tasty and GINORMOUS. I had to eat half of it as a sandwich and the other half without pita. Tasted good and I was FULL. These are about as classic a version of fries as you could hope for as well. Look forward to trying out more of the menu.
