Crema's Take
“Tucked into downtown Nashville, Honest Coffee Roasters cultivates an intentionally calm, minimal atmosphere that feels like a quiet refuge from the city—perfect for settling in with your laptop or a good book. Their espresso-focused menu delivers technically solid drinks like well-executed cortados, though reviewers note the flavor profile leans smooth and approachable rather than bold, paired with genuinely kind service and excellent pastries that keep regulars coming back for morning visits.”

Coffee and food was okay. Looks better than it tastes, but still decent!
Came here every morning of a conference in Nashville! Lovely people, great coffee, and wonderful muffins. I love the interior- the whole experience is just delightful! Also, the staff is so kind and knowledgeable about food allergies!
Tucked into downtown Nashville, Honest Coffee Roasters is a spot that immediately strikes you with its quiet, calm atmosphere. The vibe feels intentional—minimal distractions, just a space where you can slow down and enjoy your cup. The staff was warm and efficient, making the service smooth and welcoming. I ordered a cortado, and while the coffee leaned a bit sour for my taste, it was clearly a result of the lighter roast they’re currently featuring. If you’re a fan of bright, fruit-forward flavor profiles, you’ll probably appreciate it more than I did. I also tried their avocado toast, which lived up to the solid reputation it has in reviews. My only suggestion would be to experiment with a different style of bread—something a bit healthier or heartier could really elevate the dish. Overall, Honest Coffee Roasters is worth checking out if you’re in Nashville. Whether you’re after a quiet space to start your day or a solid morning cortado, you really can’t go wrong here.
Good coffee and cozy place. Got a cortado and it was well done. The espresso also was good, but not fantastic. Service is very good and the place is really nice for reading and chill.
Coffee didn’t have much flavor or depth. The espresso was smooth and light but I couldn’t taste anything else and it was the special drink of the month. The avocado toast was good but needed salt and some kind of oil or more cheese. The acai bowl was good.
