Crema's Take
“This Southern-inspired brunch spot in Charlottesville excels at thoughtfully crafted breakfast dishes like shrimp and grits, creative Benedicts, and homemade biscuits, paired with cappuccinos that keep guests coming back for seconds (some literally dining here twice in a weekend). The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between a casual neighborhood kitchen and a special-occasion destination—housed in a converted historic space with a genuinely welcoming staff that makes lingering over coffee feel like the natural thing to do. Whether you're meeting a friend or celebrating something meaningful, Farm Bell Kitchen delivers the kind of meal that sticks with you long after you've left.”

Great Southern inspired cuisine for brunch. Shrimp and grits were good, biscuits were tasty, crab cakes were great. Neat menu, cool staff. Easy to find. Parking kinda sucks unless you go to the hospital tower.
Had an amazing brunch at Farm Bell Kitchen! I tried the Southern Benedict and fruends had a bunch of other items (in the pics). Everything was well made! And especially loved their orange juice. A few random pointers: 1. Its helpful to reserve online 2. Loved the ambience 3. Absolutely loved the service 4. I made a random request for southern Benedict to have all the items separate, they went through the hassle and actually did it during a busy service. 5. Lastly, also love their hashbrowns. Maybe I havent had enough hashbrowns, but this was quite unique amongst what I have had before. Would love to visit again!
Great place. We stayed at the Dinsmore Bed and Breakfast and this place is part of the bottom level. You don't have to stay there to eat here. My wife got the Fried Green Tomatoe Benedict and I got the Bayou Bowl. Both were fantastic. They make their own hot sauce if you like a little extra heat that is awesome and you can buy a bottle to take with you.
🔔 A Truly Tremendous Anniversary Brunch at Farm Bell Kitchen! 🥂 My wife and I celebrated our 29th anniversary at Farm Bell Kitchen today, and the entire experience was nothing short of tremendous. We couldn't have picked a better place for our special day. From the moment we sat down, the service, atmosphere, and overall experience were exceptional. Our server, Alli V., was an absolute delight. She truly made our anniversary special by bringing us a complimentary order of their incredible Banana Beignets with Bourbon Caramel sauce. Those beignets were an unexpected, amazing treat and truly made our day! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the House Brioche French Toast, which was truly amazing and perfectly prepared. My wife had the Farm Bell Benedict, and she raved about it. Every dish we had was fresh, flavorful, and elevated. The combination of the wonderful food, the inviting atmosphere, and the top-tier service (especially from Alli V.) made for a perfect, memorable celebration. Thank you, Farm Bell Kitchen, for a great experience! We will certainly be recommending you and returning soon.
Over a long weekend my husband and I dined here twice for breakfast, very good both times! Wonderful cappuccinos and large portions. My only criticism would be the avocado toast, it desperately needed more flavor, like cilantro, maybe some Cotija, lemon or lime wedge. Otherwise, great menu! Really enjoyed the smoked salmon bennie.
