Crema's Take

Caffe Bene is a bustling laptop-friendly café with a genuinely cozy atmosphere and reliable pastries, though it's a hit-or-miss experience depending on when you visit and who's behind the counter. The cappuccinos and croissants tend to impress, but their matcha lattes can disappoint with excessive foam and subtle flavor, and service can feel rushed during busy periods. If you're after a solid pour-over or a fresh pastry in a lively neighborhood spot with outdoor seating and parking nearby, it's worth a try—just manage expectations on consistency.

Great atmosphere! But, the customer service is lacking in all aspects. I have been here a few times and unfortunately, I have had the same experience every time. The drinks were fairly decent for the price. It is a shame tho (because the interior is beautiful and the location is convenient as well)

The matcha latte was way too frothy and didn’t really have much of a matcha flavor. Server was super rushed and didn’t really have good customer service. Price was also quite steep for just a little mug. The pastries looked aesthetically pleasing though, curious about trying to signature crepe cake in the future. Hope to have a better experience next time.

I had a great experience at Café Bene! Their cappuccino was smooth, flavorful, and really well-balanced — easily one of the better ones I’ve had recently. I also tried their croissant, which was fresh, flaky, and a perfect light bite alongside the coffee. I appreciated that they offer almond milk as an alternative, and they use the Califia brand, which is a high-quality choice. It would be even better if they added an organic almond milk option in the future. One thing to note: the regular dairy milk they use isn’t organic, A2, or from a local pasture-raised source. It would be amazing if they could offer more premium milk options for those who care about sourcing. Overall, still a very cozy spot with quality coffee and pastries — definitely worth a visit!

It was extremely busy when I went. Lots of people working on their laptop. Thankfully, they had a nice seating area outside, which is nice on a cool day. They have a lot of pastries and cakes, and they genuinely looked really good, but I didn’t try any. I got an iced Americano, and the coffee was certainly high-quality and not overly acidic. It’s not one of your cute cafes where you go to read or relax, but rather can be good place if you want to grab a quick coffee.

A cozy spot with great lattes and pastries—I tried the Earl Grey pastry, and it was fantastic. The café is popular, making it a lively place to work or catch up with friends. There’s a parking garage for convenience, and while outdoor seating is available, it’s right next to the street.
