For Crepe Sake
211 Mac Ave, East Lansing, MI
Crema's Take
“This cozy East Lansing spot nails the French café vibe with a devoted following for both their creative sweet and savory crepes and genuinely good coffee, though reviews suggest the crepes are the real star while the drinks steal the show. The atmosphere is warm and Instagram-worthy with outdoor seating perfect for lingering over breakfast or meeting friends, though service can be leisurely and prices run a bit high for what lands on your plate. If you're near campus and craving an indulgent brunch experience with quality coffee and a European-inspired setting, it's worth the visit—just manage expectations that this is more about the ambience and Instagram moments than cutting-edge specialty espresso.”

Great crepe place near campus. Able to get a table at about 11a on a Saturday, great sweet & savory crepes and good drinks too, ambience was pleasant. Service was a little slow, but I think that was because they were training at least one new person and were a little slammed. Can't fault their hustle or the quality -- recommended!
Dubai chocolate crepe? Hands down the worst thing I’ve ever ordered in my entire life. That ball is cold, solid, no crunch and a mix of some type of earthy nut butter. $16.99 down the drain.
The atmosphere and the coffee are delicious... the crepe just okay. If I'm going to pay $40 for two crepes with salad and a coffee...I kinda want to be wowed and I just wasn't. Super cool place if you love crepes though.
Our first visit this morning and so glad we popped in! Excellent, friendly customer service; delicious breakfast crepes; fantastic coffee. What more do you want? Some of the light fixtures could use a cleaning and drop ceiling tiles replaced, but otherwise the space is soothing and takes me back to European cafes. We will be back for more, soon!
This is our second time coming to For Crepe Sake and it was just as wonderful as the first. My friends recommended the cinnamon roll crepe which was delicious, though a tad sweet for my taste. It is definitely more of a dessert crepe. We also got the fruit tart crepe which was exactly what we were looking for. The tangy lemon balances well with the sweet cream while the fresh fruit offers a relief and keeps it from becoming overwhelmingly sweet. This place is always clean, and it didn’t matter if we came here near open or during peak hours. The staff is friendly and our crepes came quickly. Overall recommend for both couples and friends.
