Crema's Take

Moka & Co is a serene, spacious spot where staff genuinely care about craft—whether it's the deliberate process of Turkish coffee or just creating an atmosphere perfect for focused work. The vibe is clean and relaxed with thoughtful touches like a games section and outdoor seating, though heads up that their matcha leans more culinary than specialty if that's your go-to order. Come here when you want a friendly, unhurried escape with solid traditional drinks and pastries, especially if you're a late riser since they open later than most.

The coffee shop is so adorable. It's a very quiet, relaxing place where you can get your work and school done. I love the music they're playing. Mohamed was very friendly and helpful. It was our first visit, and Mohamed explained the options to us clearly, including all the drinks and desserts. Thank you, Mohamed. Keep up the great work. Thank you for welcoming us with friendly smiles. I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely come again.

Cute location, yummy pastries! But, if you are a big matcha fan. The matcha is unfortunately quite bad. It was a strong grey green color and tasted a bit like culinary grade matcha to me. But, the Dubai latte was superb. :)

I ordered a Turkish coffee to go, it took a while to make though I appreciate that since it means they care for the process and a Turkish coffee is definitely a process to make. It was pike hot given to me and it took a good 35 minutes to be able to drink it, also referring to how fresh it is by its hot temperature. I appreciated the inside it was cozy and offered deserts and other cold beverages on the display by the cash register. One person helped me and the rest of the ladies were chatting and giggling which is refreshing to see but I was hoping for a tiny bit of team work coming from then since only one person helped. The parking was a bit odd since you can’t park immediately next to the shop but we made due parking on a street behind the building on a free 15 minute parking spot.

It's not a cozy coffee shop spot but it's clean and the staff is friendly. They have a little game section that your free to use. Free wifi and an out door seating area weather permitting. My macchiato was decent but my favorite part was the blueberry Danish. None of the desserts have names so prepare yourself to ask a lot of questions ( I did) .

This is the second Moka & Co. location I've been to in Lansing. This location has a fair amount of space but little parking though a ramp is located just around the corner. Ingive it a four only because of how they made my Turkish coffee. First, they put it in a to go cup even though I was dining in. Second, though Turkish coffee is supposed to have grounds in it, the grounds were not finely ground and got in my teeth etc. You can see the grounds from my picture. I just remember it being smoother at other shops I've been to. Lastly, they didn't have butter for croissants, etc. Great place for coffee though. Reccomend the Mufawar because of the cardamom flavor, just be careful as it is super hot.
