Crema's Take
“This beloved Helena institution has earned two decades of devoted regulars with its thoughtful espresso work and rotating selection of single-origin pour overs, from bright Ethiopian light roasts to rich Mexican-French dark blends. The eclectic, cozy downtown space feels like a gathering place where both quick coffee runs and lingering meetings happen with equal warmth, backed by staff who genuinely remember your order and greet you like friends. It's the kind of specialty coffee shop that takes its craft seriously while keeping the vibe unpretentious and genuinely welcoming.”

My wife and I are regulars at the Firetower now for twenty years. Love everything about the place. Family owned and operated. Fabulous fresh ground coffee. I'm partial to the Mexican-French dark roast. Amazing. The food is also wonderful wether you want a little fresh pastry snack or a full breakfast or lunch. I love the Firetower Breakfast scramble w/sausage and the cranberry/walnut toast. Yummy. It's a must stop place if you come to Helena. Oh and do check out all the signed guitars and posters of iconic musical legends that Nord has collected. Drop in and say hi to Nord and the gang.
Absolutely love this place. I have lunch here at least once a week the service is always 5 star. They remember my order and serve with a smile. We also hold company meetings here from time to time. Kudos to Nord, Robin and Eric for always making our experiences the best.
This place is one of the best in the west! Great Coffee, fun staff; cozy environment!
This place rocks! I got an excellent cup of Ethiopian light roast drip coffee. They had several choices of drip (I love that), so if light roast isn’t youre thing, you’re probably covered. Pimento cheese scone was phenomenal (better than that sounds, honestly). Reasonable prices. Charming atmosphere, and a gorgeous quarter-sawn oak upright piano!
A cozy, niche coffee shop in the heart of downtown Helena. The decor is fun and eclectic. The menu is wide ranging and I wish I would have tried the turkey sandwich, maybe next time. This looks to be a popular place for locals to frequent, we were just in town for an appointment. My daughter had a cold so she tried a ginger lemon tea with honey. I had an espresso frappe with pumpkin flavor added. I didn't love the espresso, I have my Nespresso faves at home, and the straw was too short for the 24 oz. But at least it wasnt overpriced. My daughter said the cinnamon roll was excellent. I tried a pumpkin snickerdoodle. It was ok, not enough pumpkin flavor for me though. Overall, a nice option when in town.
