Groggy Scallywag Coffee House

Went here twice in one day it was so good. The owner is so sweet and my coffee was perfect both times. I’ve been a barista for 10 years and it’s always great to get good coffee and service when on vacation. xoxo -Marisa

My large family and I visited this adorable coffee shop this morning. The owner was sweet as can be, the drinks and food were delicious, and the service was excellent. Will definitely visit every time we are in town! We were so enamored of the shop we made sure to buy a sweatshirt from their merch area too!

I love the coffee here! I’m a coffee snob and this coffee shop is def next level!! The owner makes my coffee exactly the way I love it every time and always asks about me needing Almond milk. I really appreciate that! Also the jalapeño bagels are amazing 🤤. This is my new spot. My husband got a sweater bc he loves the logo so much!! Def recommend all locals support local🫶🏽💕🌊

Best costumer service ever. Barrista was super knowledgeable of the drinks and was very friendly and engaging. The drinks were very good. My chai was made with powder, but it was better than the usual Powder I’ve had. Over all, I love how personal they were and how cool the area surrounding the coffee shop was.

We stopped by Groggy Scallywag on a whim on our way out of Morro Boy and boy were we in for a treat! The vanilla iced latte was exactly how I like it—the perfect balance of bitter and sweet, with plenty of flavor. My friend got the matcha latte with ube and it was excellent—prepared well with a strong flavor profile. We also ordered asiago bagels with cream cheese, which the owner toasted for us. I wasn't expecting much from the bagel, but it was truly delicious. They were clearly handmade and I wish I had asked which bakery the cafe sources them from. I will definitely be stopping by again next time I am in town!
