Crema's Take
“Cup & Saucer is a beloved San Jose diner where classic American breakfast reaches comfort-food perfection, from crispy home fries and fluffy omelets to fresh-baked pies that'll make you linger longer than planned. The warm, homey atmosphere and genuinely attentive staff (regulars rave about servers like Enrique) make it the kind of place where families and friends naturally settle in for a slow, satisfying meal, whether you're catching up over pancakes or enjoying lunch on their sunny outdoor patio.”

Family friendly, home-style yumminess!! My husband and I enjoyed great pancakes, bacon eggs potatoes and omelet. We saw that they had fresh baked cakes 🎂 and pies and ooh. They serve lunch as well. I don't remember if they serve dinner. But so good. I love the good ol' home style food and wholesomeness. The staff are great. They are very hospitable and have genuine smiles 😃. It wasn't our first time, nor will it be our last. Thanks 😊 🦋
Came in for a classic breakfast and had an excellent experience. The omelet with salsa was delicious and the home fries were perfectly crispy. A huge thanks to our server, Enrique, who was fantastic super attentive, friendly, and made sure our coffee stayed full. It’s the great service that really makes this place stand out!
We used to love this place. It is a diner atmosphere which is comfortable. But it frustrated me that they are now charging a dollar extra for hash browns if you don't want their country potatoes. They charged an extra dollar during the time when eggs were $10 a dozen, I understood that and knew it was temporary but I can't stand the excessive charges. Just build it in to your price. It seems the place is under new management and we won't be back after supporting this business for the last 30 years.
A truly amazing breakfast spot. First time there, and the food options were amazing, very clean, the staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant and the food was INCREDIBLE. 10/10 will be back.
We ate outside. The food was as good as ever. The service was great too. Thankfully the server wore a mask. We're still eating outside by choice but things are relaxing. The food and service are still good.
