Selva Coffee House

Crema's Take
“Selva Coffee House is a lush, plant-filled sanctuary in San Diego where serious coffee meets botanical escape—their espresso-focused drinks and creative seasonal beverages are genuinely excellent, not just Instagram bait. Beyond the cup, you'll find yourself lingering among the greenery and vintage disco ball, making it equally beloved as a gift shop and a low-key meeting spot where the vibe is as carefully curated as the coffee itself.”

I’m obsessed with selva. I won’t lie I thought it was going to be another IG photo pop with mid product but to my surprise, everything is so so SO GOOD. I’ve been three times in the last month not and every matcha I’ve got has been perfect; and the pastries are unique and drool worthy. It’s a comfortable work spot as well, so really a well rounded spot. Go to work, get a latte and leave with a new plant! Sounds like the perfect afternoon!!!
Loved this cafe and nursery and I’ll definitely be back. They had beautiful variety of plants and pots for about $9-$19. Great place to buy gifts for someone you know with a green thumb. The music was a little too loud inside the cafe area, but not so much everywhere else so it was at least fun to listen to while shopping.
My favorite coffee shop in San Diego. You can grab a drink and roam around the plants for a long time! The are a lot of plants in the seating area, getting a big sense of privacy. Every seasonal drink I have tried has always been amazing, they have vegan pastries and the baristas are very polite and friendly!
Such an amazing experience and a HUGE selection of beverages & baked goods. The DJ is always a highlight on the weekends, they have the best disco ball I have ever seen. There are cute gifts in the shop if a plant isn't enough. I went in for coffee & almost walked out with a whole new garden. There are beautiful & unique plants in the nursery, 1 of the biggest plant/garden stores I have been to. There are plenty of bathrooms throughout. Friendly service, amazing vibes. Coffee, music, plants all under 1 roof.
Matcha was just meh and the pastries were tasteless. They also have pretty high prices and ask for a large tip on the iPad you pay on. Why so popular: Ppl go here just for the atmosphere and it’s very Instagram-able Pro: cool to sit and be in a forest of trees and it’s very well decorated. It is so cute so it’s worth the trip if you wanna just grab a coffee and sit and chat.
