7th St. Community Cafe
2232 N 7th St, Grand Junction, CO
Crema's Take
“This community-focused cafe punches way above its weight with inventive sandwiches that win over even skeptics—their tempeh BLT with tomato jam and creative vegetarian options prove they're doing something genuinely thoughtful with simple ingredients. The airy, welcoming atmosphere makes it equally suited for a quick coffee grab or lingering over lunch, and the fact that they're tied to a cooking education nonprofit adds real purpose to the experience. Fair warning: there's been some confusion on orders, but the majority of regulars rave about fresh flavors, reasonable prices, and a place that actually feels like a community gathering spot rather than just another cafe.”

I can't really answer how the good was, I ordered a chicken panini with provolone, got a veggie panini. They took it back, brought a chicken panini with cheddar cheese, I had to eat it because I had to go. Just ok
Ten dollars for a cold sandwich? What happened to serving real food in America? I know all about the gimmick and how you donate to proceeds and teach people how to cook. Problem is they aren't learning anything except how to spread avocado and ranch equally on flatbread. And the meal was like I was at the soup kitchen. Terrible. Was like you get your food from the food bank
such a great cafe! lots of choices at very reasonable prices, and it's sooo tasty! it's great to find a little healthy cantine for lunch :)
Probably the best sandwich I've had in the Valley. The flavors were fresh and on point, the atmosphere was delightful and airy. Service was great too, I knew I needed fo order at the counter but grabbed a menu and seat outside. We were greeted by a staff member, who was kind and gave us great suggestions. The grab and go juices/drinks and produce bags were full and displayed well. I had the Santa Fe with Mediterranean Salad for a side and my companion had a grilled cheese, with Bacon =) I can't wait to come back and try a couple different items as well.
I had a tempeh BLT and it was absolutely amazing! I'm not even vegan but I think it's the best BLT I've ever had. The tomato jam was 👌. My friend had a "rabbit food" sandwich she loved too! (Pic included) So happy to have a place in Junction with healthy, delicious, well-made sandwiches. There are a ton of vegan options too which is great! The employees were so nice and the atmosphere was bright and inviting. I'll be back to try more of their menu for sure!
