FiiZ Drinks

Crema's Take
“FiiZ Drinks brings a playful energy to Tucson's drink scene with creative concoctions like their Cocamo (Coca-Cola and chocolate) and signature mixed sodas that feel more like dessert than refreshment. Their pastries, especially the Cookie Butter Filled Beignets, are worth a visit—just give them a few minutes to warm up in the Arizona heat before diving in. Fair warning: double-check your receipt at the register, as a few customers have noticed pricing discrepancies between the menu and the till.”

Got overcharged by for a drink that was advertised on the menu at $3.50 excl. tax and ended up paying $5.21 incl. tax. The employee said that these were the prices in the cash register and that he could not make a refund. That’s false advertising.
Stopped by and couldn’t resist trying their Cookie Butter Filled Beignets. One word of advice - they serve them to you cold. Let these babies warm up in the Arizona sun for a bit before biting into one of them because boy are they delicious!
I was having a super crappy day and decided I needed a soda! I ordered from DoorDash and The Cocamo. It was so amazing to have it delivered right to my door and that first hit with Coca-Cola, chocolate, and coconut instantly made my day better! The staff is amazing and I was just how to make the drinks so they are perfect!
My friend and I wanted a sweet treat so stopped by. We were not disappointed as there was a variety of drinks to choose from ranging from milkshakes to mixed sodas. My friend also got the churros bites which looked really good. This is a great place to go to when needing dessert!!!
(Before update: 4.5 , After Update: 3.5) Today I stopped by this new Fiiz Drinks location after work for a drink to beat the heat. The establishment through their decor is looking to emulate a classic malt shop with emphasis on a modern twist. I'll be it Minimalist, the message is portrayed exceptionally. I order an "over the rainbow" drink, a blue raspberry sprite soda with whipped cream, candy sprinkles, and a sour candy belt. The drink was decently refreshing and the flavor was not overpowering yet still present, a sensible yet fresh experience. Dining area is Minimalistic, but considering the target demographic are university students on the move, it makes sense. In total, Fiiz has given a good first impression, but due to the fact it just opened, there is nothing really outstanding about it. However, it has set itself up to hopefully grow into a noteworthy local business. Wether it is a claim to fame menu item, or sticking to simplicity, Fiiz has put itself on the road for establishing itself within the community, and only time will tell if they deserve to strive. (Update): I decided to return the next day after this initial review was posted for a free drink and to see if my review needed any edits. Unfortunately the business owner and one of their friends did not take too kindly to this review. Saying things like "that review was weird" and so on, right in front of me without realizing I was the one who posted it. I wish to make it clear that I did not dislike anything about the store and had no intention to portray myself as negative. I was simply stating that in terms of long term future for a restaurant business in Tucson (which alot of them in this city have failed miserably such as blue front), there would most likely have to be a proven tactic to increase chances of remaining in business for longer. I honestly don't know why my review would be seen as negative. If it's because it ruined a "5 star streak" or something along those lines, then I apologize. However, personally I feel that reaction was very inappropriate. If you are going to talk about customer reviews, do it away from the customers entirely. And most importantly, if you cannot take any form of criticism or any review as a chance to think of future development at all, then you have already failed. Personally, I feel this will be another average Tucson restaurant story just like the rest.
