This charming Kihei spot has mastered the art of thoughtfully crafted crepes with an impressive dedication to dietary inclusivity—their gluten-free batters and vegan options taste so intentional and fresh that they've won over even the most discerning crepe lovers. Wow! The food here is so good and it's vegetarian and gluten free! The best tempeh crepe ever! The gf batter is so good! You gotta come try this place.

I was so happy to find a gluten free place! The sweet crepes were delicious, especially with the whipped cream! Every ingredient was super fresh and you could tell he really cared about his craft—he whisked the matcha for the latte right there, and it was so yummy. It took some time, but was totally worth the wait!

Gluten free vegan strawberry chocolate crepe is the best thing I’ve ever eaten! The service was kind & the vibe was chill and island. It’s a must eat in Maui!

As an Orange County local who loves supporting small, LA-based chefs wherever I travel, finding this Japanese vegan, gluten-free gem in Kihei felt extra special. You can tell right away that there’s so much intention behind everything here — the team is incredibly polite, the space feels clean and welcoming, and the food is thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients that leave you feeling light and nourished instead of weighed down. The portions come out small, but don’t be fooled — they’re surprisingly filling. Everything tastes fresh and handmade, especially the sauces, which you can tell aren’t shortcuts or things you could easily recreate at home. That level of care makes the experience feel truly authentic and unique. Their matcha latte is one of the cleanest I’ve had — smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet. It perfectly matches the overall vibe: simple, health-conscious, and intentionally crafted. It’s rare to find an authentic Japanese vegan spot that is also fully gluten-free, especially one that clearly handmakes so much from scratch. In many of my favorite travel destinations — SF, Oahu, San Diego — there’s always that one standout clean, gluten-free Japanese place. This is Maui’s version of that hidden gem. You can tell the owners are part of the modern, health-forward movement — the kind of small business that sells out at farmers markets because people trust the quality. After the Lahaina fires in 2023, supporting small local businesses feels more important than ever. Places like this deserve to thrive. If you’re in Kihei, this spot is too good not to share. A true hidden gem that feels like a nod in the right direction for where food culture is heading — cleaner, kinder, and more intentional.

One of our favorite new restaurants on Maui. Super unique super tasty super fresh super local. You’ll feel great after eating here. The best crêpe I’ve ever had in my life. Sidenote, I think everything is also gluten-free. Don’t sleep on this spot. Hidden gem
