I was so happy to find a gluten free place! The sweet crepes were delicious, especially with the whipped cream! Every ingredient was super fresh and you could tell he really cared about his craft—he whisked the matcha for the latte right there, and it was so yummy. It took some time, but was totally worth the wait!

In many of my favorite travel destinations — SF, Oahu, San Diego — there’s always that one standout clean, gluten-free Japanese place. This is Maui’s version of that hidden gem. You can tell the owners are part of the modern, health-forward movement — the kind of small business that sells out at farmers markets because people trust the quality. After the Lahaina fires in 2023, supporting small local businesses feels more important than ever. Places like this deserve to thrive. If you’re in Kihei, this spot is too good not to share. A true hidden gem that feels like a nod in the right direction for where food culture is heading — cleaner, kinder, and more intentional.
