“Tucked away in West Des Moines, this espresso-focused coffee house radiates a genuinely cozy, homey vibe that feels like a well-kept local secret—reviewers rave about its quiet, comfy atmosphere that's perfect for lingering with a laptop or catching up with friends. Beyond consistently excellent lattes and specialty drinks, they're clearly doing something special with their pastries and quiches, with regulars returning again and again for both the thoughtfully crafted food and the welcoming, unpretentious energy that somehow manages to feel both refined and refreshingly laid-back.”

I was in WDM for a baseball tourney and was so pleased to find this cute coffee house. The atmosphere was very comfy, quiet and cozy. I had a quiche and a latte which were delicious. The staff was friendly staff. They have a drive- through which is nice.
I’ve lived in WDM my whole life and never stopped here until last week. I’ve been back several times since then! Consistently good coffee and food. Dive bar vibes (but make it coffee) inside in the best possible way.
We don't make it to this area of the metro that often but have passed this coffee shop several times in a month-span, so yesterday, we finally stopped in. The vibe is so homey! It reminds me so much of our mom and pop coffee shops in the Shenandoah Valley. You feel like you're walking into a cabin which is not the impression you get when looking from the outside. I love it! The drinks were also great! I normally go for a cortado, but the owner allowed me to adjust the powder in my Chagacinno (mushroom coffee). Other shops do not. It still tasted like coffee, still had the nootropics, and was not too sweet. Essential items on my list. My husband loved his cold brew and he's a huge critic. We'll have to try the quiche the next time we're in! It came highly recommended! They've been in business for 30 years. It's very obvious why they're successful!
Great atmosphere, love the drive through. Their quiche was very good! Their baked goods looked quite good as well. The latte I got was okay. I will likely be back for the atmosphere and the delicious quiche.
I recently found this coffee shop in West Des Moines, and I’m loving it. Not too many small business coffee shops around, and this one is spectacular with delicious breakfast options (I can’t go there without getting their breakfast burrito) and the Mexican Mocha is to die for! It has a small town feel, where the owner knows customers by name, and a great place to sit and chat.
