Ice Queens
1648 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD
Crema's Take
“Ice Queens brings New Orleans snowball tradition to Baltimore with a Black woman-owned operation that's earned serious love from the community. Their generously-sized snowballs are drenched in bold, house-made syrups with creative flavor combinations that consistently impress, and they've got solid beignets rounding out the menu if you want to expand beyond the iconic frozen treats. It's a casual, outdoor-focused spot that feels like a genuine neighborhood gem—refreshing, unpretentious, and made with clear care.”

Loved that Its a black owned company. Loved the different flavor options. I didnt like that we had to stand outside to order and eat outside. I guess I expected it to be inside. The staff was lovely. Parking was a pain in the butt. I would visit again.
The snowballs never ever disappoint! The beignets are pretty good, too! My only suggestion would be adding descriptions to the menu for each specialty snowball, maybe even just include descriptions on an online menu!
It may be called new orleans but it does not get any more Baltimore than this, hon! A lager-than-standard snowball, evenly doused with rich flavorful syrup (many options, all that we tried were very good) and right next to Fort McHenry. I got the Baltimore signature: egg custard with marshmallow (+.99c)
If yall don't know about this black woman owned place... yall SLEEPING! everything I've had from snowballs to food is delicious and made to order. It is a new Orleans version of everything but my god I need this to be closer to where I live because I'd be here everyday. It's affordable and delicious. On this trip I had a monte Cristo sandwich, spicy turkey club sandwich, beignets, lemonade and seasoned home fries. Sandwiches are only Saturdays and Sundays. Snoballs are from February to Thanksgiving! They are open 7 days a week 3pm to I think 10pm... listen yall make your way here and fast! *they also have vegan options*
