Divina Colombian Café
6201 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento, CA
Crema's Take
“Divina Colombian Café brings an authentic slice of Bogotá to Sacramento, with made-fresh empanadas, arepas, and bandeja paisa that transport regulars straight back to Colombia. The family-owned spot channels genuine warmth through both its lovingly decorated space and traditional Colombian drinks like agua de panela, making it feel less like a restaurant and more like a gathering place where you're welcomed like family. It's the kind of place where you'll linger over slow coffee and conversation, especially when they host live music nights on their little stage.”

I've been here twice by far so my review is long overdue: First time I came here I had the bandeja paisa, chicken empanadas, & arepas. Great taste & reminded me of when I was in Bogotá. Second time I went to try the beef empanadas & got a few other items such as the chorizo & morcilla on the side. They were amazing too! Let's not forget the atmosphere. The walls & ceiling are decorative & stand out. Also cannot go wrong with their impeccable customer service. And sometimes there's even live music. Definitely worth the drive from outta town.
This might be my favorite Colombian restaurant in northern california. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The beef empanadas were so so so good!
Divina Colombian Cafe is such a special gem. The food is authentic and exactly similar to what you get in Colombia. The family who owns the restaurant is very nice and they truly demonstrate the hospitality of Colombians. Their Bandeja Paisa is delicious, empanadas are delicious, everything I've had here was good! Highly recommend this restaurant. We need to keep this delicious Colombian food here in Sacramento! Update: Please remember, the food takes long to come out because they make everything completely fresh. Why would you complain about waiting for fresh food?
Cute place. You can tell they sometimes have nights with bailes cause there’s a stage. To start with the drinks, I got a agua de panela, and he got the kola flavored Colombian canned soda. The drinks were absolutely delicious. The canned soda was like a fresh all natural orange soda. The panela drink was sour sweetish with a little hit of lemon. Really good, and I’ll be trying the aguas preparadas next time I come. For appetizer, we got the empanadas, and honestly you can come here just for those cause that was the best thing by far. The salsa it comes with don’t play around. It’s was absolutely delicious, and I’ll be replicating that at home thank you very much. I got the mojarra Gris, and he got the churrasco plate. I ate that fish up and slurped the eyes out. The song “amor eterno” was playing, and it all felt so heavenly. Would’ve liked a little more salt on the fish, but with the lime and how crispy it was. Absolutely bomb. Boyfriend asked I put 4 stars on the food only cause the fries are eh, but I think he’s tripping, so I put 5 stars total. Will be coming back just to have 10 empanadas
The food was delicious, the place is very nice and and the decorations is stunning, was made with passion for sure, the reason I am giving 4 stars is that took more than 30min to be served and was almost empty and the price 2 normal plates 1 drink was $60... other than that I can't deny that was great!
