Crema's Take
“I appreciate the detailed information, but I need to let you know there's a mismatch here. The reviews you've provided are all about Holey Moley, a mini golf venue in Houston, not a coffee shop called The Holey Roller. Since Crema is a specialty coffee discovery app, I'd need actual reviews from a coffee shop to write an authentic summary that matches your format and guidelines. Could you provide reviews or information for an actual coffee shop, or clarify if The Holey Roller is indeed a café?”

Holey Moley in Houston is honestly such a fun experience. The themed holes are creative and hilarious – every corner has something unexpected. It’s not your boring mini golf, it actually feels like a full night out. The vibe is super colorful and upbeat, music playing, good energy everywhere. Perfect for date night or going out with friends. Drinks were solid too, which makes it even better. Definitely coming back.
My family took me here as a birthday treat a couple weeks ago. They have a bar and grill that has a basic assortment of food and a wide assortment of drinks. The venue has 3 courses of 9 holes per course. The 9th hole in each course takes your ball so you will have to get another ball from staff if you booked multiple courses. The staff are all courteous, respectful, and always ready to help. My only complaint is that the venue was a bit hard to find (no pictures of the entrance) and that the food selection could have had a bit more variety.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the ascetics, however some of the game sessions didn’t provide much swinging room. The place has really cool features. Be sure not to hit 9 first or your hall will become unavailable! Go in order!
Holey Moley was very fun. Lots of different and unique mini golf courses. There are ton of great photo opportunities. If there is a lot of people, it can get crowded as the place isn't very big. Overall, it was fun and a cute date night/friend outing activity.
I have been going to Holey Moley since they opened. When I lived 18 minutes away, I would come to Holey Moley after ice skating at the galleria (7 minutes from galleria), after playing golf, or just to have a drink and eat good food! It’s one of my favorite places in Houston that’s why now that I live 2 hours away, this place is still worth the drive! I love their cute, unique mini golf courses, the choice of music, the adorable food and drinks that are fairly priced and super yummy! I love that the team has fun energy and stay attentive to what you need. However, this previous time that I went on Aug 7th, I decided to try the private karaoke room with my friends who love to do karaoke. Let me tell you.. that part was not worth it. On Mondays-Thursdays, the karaoke room is $80 for 1 hour and $120 for 1.5 hours. Even though Holey Moley has some of the best choice of music, the actual karaoke room does not. Basically if you want a specific artist, it had very limited songs from that artist and some that you didn’t even know existed. The instrumental part is not that loud and your voice is louder, there needs to be a better blend of that. A lot of the songs showed incorrect lyrics and it kept messing us up even though we know the real lyrics. It was also kind of hot in there just with 5 people, I can’t imagine how hot it would be with 15. They have a tall fan or ac unit in the room but none of the team members that I asked knew how to work it. All of this doesn’t allow you to have the best karaoke experience. Save your money, don’t pay $120 like I did for honestly a bad karaoke experience. I hope one day the Holey Moley team can fix that or get a different karaoke system because I know y’all have the best everything else. The concept of a private room is great but I know y’all can make the experience better. My friends and I tried to make the best of it and you know good company makes any place fun. I still give 5 stars because I really love this place and the team! Pics are from the previous time I came and one from Halloween 2024. Definitely make the drive here, look at their prices online (I included a few pics of some prices) and please tip your servers, they deserve a good tip!
