Crema's Take
“Honey Seed is a beloved independent spot in Chattanooga where the baristas and kitchen staff move with impressive synchronization, crafting both impeccable specialty drinks and creative breakfast fare like their standout beignets and fresh-ingredient sandwiches. The small, bustling space hums with genuine warmth—servers and bartenders interact like family—making it the kind of place where you can feel the care that goes into each cup and plate, even when things get hectic. It's perfect for anyone seeking that rare combination of skilled coffee craft and soul-nourishing hospitality, though fair warning: it's cozy enough that crowds and sensitivity to busy atmospheres might be a consideration.”

My favorite food is "good kind"... and this food is so very good and the people are kind! I sat at the bar, and the bartender servers were very busy and turning out gorgeous drinks that Im sure were delicious. Mine was! My food was also fresh, beautiful, and so enjoyed! Stone ground cheese grits were perfection!
I had a gluten free bagel and eggs, they were both great! We had a party of 6 (expected a couple more) and were sat very quickly - without a reservation. Service was quick and the staff were nice. This was my first time going, and I'll be back. The music seemed a little loud at first, but we managed to talk over it. Overall, this was a great first impression. Also, the bathrooms were well maintained.
Got a breakfast sandwich, definitely a big fan of their options. Ingredients tasted fairly fresh & had some unique choices. Very small & busy, any hypersensitivity this is not your place. Otherwise pretty good experience
I was hoping this place would be really good after reading reviews but with the experience my husband and I had, I doubt we will return. I got a pizza and a side salad. My husband got a bagel sandwich. I first asked for chicken on my pizza and the waitress was quick to tell me “it wasn’t good,” so I chose something else. We waited a good while for our food and my pizza came out like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The dough was cooked just enough to be barely be called done. All of the toppings were thrown right in the center - no where near the crust. One piece didn’t even have meat on it. My salad was mostly carrots, quite literally a small handful of lettuce that they charged $8 for. The waitress walked by the table once while we were eating for maybe 3 seconds. When she finally brought the check I mentioned the pizza and she let us know that if the regular guy isn’t working it’s likely to not be as good. If you’re looking for good pizza, I’d probably go somewhere else. Not worth the money.
This is a really adorable spot. The food was so good. The server was very pleasant. The way they all interacted with each was very wholesome, like a big family. The beignets were the best. Chicken and waffles- huge and delicious. Don't miss out on this!
