If you haven’t been to Toaste yet, you are missing out. I have tried over half of their menu and there isn’t a single item that I have any bit of improvement on. All flavors are well balanced and can we take a moment for the side of pickled carrots or pickles you get, too! Also, two words: strawberry matcha. No notes. You need it!

I was visiting my son at MSU and we stopped in for a cup of coffee. The service was prompt and the young man at the counter was very friendly. I decided that while I was there, I'd grab a couple sandwiches to take home for dinner. The menu isn't huge but each sandwich had an interesting twist with unique ingredients - especially the condiments. I ordered a Maple BLT-A which had candied bacon, avocado spread, and caramelized onion sauce. Definitely a leveled up BLT! I also ordered the Turkey Brie which had an awesome fig jam, onion sauce and both provolone and brie cheese. Both were on homemade foccacia bread that was airy with just the right amount of crisp to the top. The prices are very reasonable with generously sized sandwiches priced at around $11. I wanted to get dessert too but I wasn't sure how it would hold up during my hour drive home. I'll definitely swing by the next time I'm in town though. This place is a hidden gem and worth a stop!

Went to Toast today for lunch, and it was the best decision. Wanted to stop by so many times, as I'm a fan of their sister dessert location, Make It Sweet. Everything we got there were fantastic! From mushroom creme soup, Kimchi Tuna melt, Banana Pudding Toast and banana latte! Food, service, dessert and drinks were 10/10!

What a lovely spot for lunch. The food was delicious, I had their take on a blt and it was so good. Their bread & side of marinated carrots were tasty as well. Their owners are so nice and take great care in their food!

New ownership! My new favorite #coffee shop. Super cute, bright, and clean! Lots of outlets, so it's a great place for studying :) Make It Sweet bakery owner is the new owner of Toaste. Today, I tasted the Jambon and their egg sandwich. The focaccia bread is made from scratch, in house, with fig jam and truffle mayo. It was DIVINE! The chef/owner makes her own bread and makes the jam and even the ham all from scratch. Y'all, I can't emphasize it enough. I want the sandwich again... super high quality, considering we're in a small town lol I also tried their matcha latte and their banana creme latte. Super unique and pairs sooo well with the sandwiches. Come support your local coffee shop!! The husband owner is a #Spartan #Broad alumni, so #gogreen ! They also have a coupon card, so make sure you get a stamp! Oh, they also sell their Make It Sweet brioche donuts. Soft and chewy, and the custard inside is perfect sweetness and so creamy. Ok, I'll stop lol :) I'm just so happy this place is open because it's sooo hard to find a good place to study, with outlet, with cute vibe, with high quality yet affordable food, unique drinks, and great dessert, plus free parking.
