Coffee Tree & Poke

Pretty tasty poke, got the spicy tuna special (Temptation Bowl) and it definitely had a spicy kick! I’m still eating my lunch but it was so good that I felt compelled to leave this review right away. Will come back again to try other bowls.

I traipsed into Coffee Tree & Poke on First Hill and ordered the Ippo Sake poke bowl with a crisp iced coffee but my eyes kept wandering to the Spam Musubi. Staff were sweet and chirpy, the vibe chill minimalist café meets hospital lobby and I’ll definitely snag that musubi next time with a smoothie. Outdoor seating is limited but all you’d see are hospital scrubs anyway - Take the Musubi and smoothie for a walk in one of Seattle’s architecturally richest neighborhoods!

With a few morning appointments at nearby Harborview, I wanted somewhere close - but away from the hospital complex - for breakfast. Coffee Tree Poke is just two blocks away, about a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed breakfast sandwiches, prepared exactly as ordered and served piping hot. I also enjoyed a London Fog in a takeaway cup. Cut space with seating for 8 to 10.

Such a fun little space for quick and delicious food. The patrons are a mix of locals, Harborview staff, and workers who stop by for everything from a quick bite to long conversation with friends. The menu has a choice of different poke bowls, soup and snacks. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are affordable. If you're in the area check it out!

This place was a pleasant surprise to find for lunch that wasn't hospital food or a sandwich. The service is very friendly and they offer a small cup pf miso on the house while waiting. I got the daily special Ippo Bowl. The salmon was super fresh! Yum! A mixture of refreshing veggies and a little less rice per request. 11.99 + tax. The portion size is enough for a meal. Not very large, but good quality & delicious. I would definitely recommend & go back!
